There was a moment where he let go and she tapped his legs to get his attention and hold hands again.  (This observation was actually made by one of my coworkers who is NOT a democrat).

No.  Those two kids were probably terrified.  Just a few days ago they were two kids facing the fact that they aren't getting to be kids anymore.  Like a h**l of a lot of other kids... they got pregnant before the time was perfect to do so.  (Life happens.)

I am sure this instruction was given to the couple before the political event. They need to show a united front to make Palin look more credible and to take some of the heat off her for having a daughter who became pregnant out of wedlock.

  I never noticed that because I was so floored by the obvious lies they were spreading about Obama. The more I see of the McCain camp, the more nauseated I get.
