Do you think the Mini Cooper Convertible is a good car to buy?

I've told people i have wanted to buy this car but they all to seem that excited about it. I dont knkow what to do, should i buy it or keep searching?

It's a very chic car, although some things about it are not so good. The ride is bad and it doesn't get the best gas mileage it could get. But if you are specifically looking for a convertible, then I think that it is a good buy. It should be reliable, and it is a safe car.

If you want a convertible, I would also suggest looking at the Volvo C70 and Saab 9-3 convertible, they are the safest you can buy. But if they are not in your price range, then it's not worth it.

If you are looking just for a small coupe, then I would recommend a Honda Civic coupe or another Japanese coupe. They are reliable and are definitely comfortable.

A extremely safe well designed automobile. If you are still thinking about it, take one for a test ride...decision made! Once you ride one you will be amazed at how this car handles. However, if you are not ready to wave to other MINI motorers, drive with the top down unless its raining and meet many other MINI enthusiasts at MINIs on the Dragon 2009 (MOTD2009) then may be you should look at other vehicles only to constantly question what you really wanted right from the start.

Gets better gas mileage than most.  Really does depend on your driving style.

The handling is awesome.

They're well designed, and very safe cars.

If it fits your lifestyle and the size is adequate for you, Go for it. It is a nice reliable and efficient car, that holds its value very well. If you take good care of it, you will have no problems selling it at a good price.

The cooper runs good and is a good car to save on gas $$$ but is up to you if you like it then buy it forget about what other people say.
