  1. Unless she leaves it in the her will and then it's a constitutional matter left to state, the crown goes to the next in line.    Divorce, marriage, children out of wedlock.   Look at Monaco and the reigning prince, he's supposed to have a love child to a black woman in the Carabean but that doesn't alter the afairs of state.

  2. very possible. not neccesarily becuase of divorse but becuase of Prince Charles's age and Prince William's maturity.

  3. yes prince William will be made king as his father does not deserve it.

  4. The Queen has no say in the matter.  There is something called the Act of Settlement which decides the succession to the throne. It has been in force for over 300 years and under it Prince Charles is the heir presumptive to the throne.

  5. I don't think she has any option.

  6. In view of Prince Charles' divorce?? After the death of Diana, Charles was free to marry again . It was the person He married who was a divorcee.

  7. She couldn't even if she wanted to.  It's a constitutional matter.

  8. British Queens don't do what they want. They just do what they will, and what they have to do, in a regal manner.

I'm sure the Queen will do her part in providing for the proper succession, in a very dignified, graceful way. That's her hallmark.

Thank god she doesn't party with the rich libs in Hollywood, or all bets would be off....

  9. It reallly doesn't matter what the Queen wants to do. Constitutionally, the crown goes to Charles. Whether he chooses to accept it, or abdicates in favor of his son, is another matter. But the Queen cannot alter the rites -or the rights- of succession.

  10. id prefer to see this happen, i dont believe in royals divorcing andi dont like the way charles treated diana andi certainly dont accept camilla.

  11. No she cannot do that off her own back because it would require ministerial approval from the government

Once upon a time, many years ago i thought old Charlie boy would have made a good King (pre 1980), i now think Prince William is the Monarchy`s only saving grace....

  12. It would take an act of Parliament for the Crown to go to Prince William rather than his father, Prince Charles...(we do not have a Prince Chas in this country).  It is not Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll's choice as our laws, when Charles was born, state that the Crown is to go to the first male child of the reigning monarch.

  13. It is possible that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II favours Prince William more than her first born son, Prince Charles of Wales. However, Prince Charles is first in line and there is nothing she can do to stop it from happening. Unless Prince Charles abdicate in favour of Prince William or passed away, his status stays put.

Queen Elizabeth may be a monach, but she does not have absolute power and her prerogative rights are limited, she can't change the royal line of sucession laws nor can she declare the next monarch from out of the blue.

  14. No. I think she expects the succession to run as it was intended no matter what she feels about it.

  15. Yep its all planned just as soon as he dumps kate and marries me! The queen really wants me to be the next one! ha ha.

  16. I don't think she's allowed to do that. However much we would like her to.

  17. We'll see in about 20 years if the rumors are true or not.

  18. that old bats gonna keep hold of that crown as long as her legs keep her upright.

  19. No.  She will just keep the succession the way it is.  If she wanted to change things, she would have taken action a long time ago.
