I think Manny knew he was being traded and played bad because he wanted to be put on an average team so that he would stick out and look phenomenal. That is a egg head move because scouts also look at a players history. Manny would not be put on a good team because they know hes not giving it all. i think manny was tanking himself because the bosox were being stupid and not offering him money or another contract...he knows hes the best hitter in the game right now, and the red sox, like with mo vaughn pedro martinez nomar garciaparra now manny ramirez, did away with him and tried to make him look bad. as they did with the others. The same goes for Roger Clemens. They love you until they dont want you no more..like manny says, boston doesnt deserve him, besides he's tearing it up out here in LA..yea baby
