  1. Manny is a great slugger who has help the Redsox in many games, but to be realistic of course Boston, Would be better of without Manny,They have plenty of talent waiting  on the bench for a real opportunity to play.

  2. He is past his prime, but he does provide pop to the lineup

It would be hard for the red sox to let Manny go but I think you might see him leave in the next 3 days

  3. No. Hes too good. Hes too funny. No.

  4. I'm a Mets fan who would gladly take Manny! The Red Sox need to keep him at least through this season as insurance against Big Papi's wrist. Who cares about Manny being Manny, he delivers at the plate!!!

  5. Manny Ramirez? The ego-maniac who uses High School tactics to brainwash Red Sox fans? Who's entirely replaceable? Getting old? Poor outfielder? Bad on the basepaths?

I think I've made myself clear.

  6. I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but my answer is Yes. I have defended Manny Ramirez since 2000 and now I think its time for him to part ways with the Redsox. Are the Redsox better off without him as a player??...NO. Will they have a better overall team morale and less distractions?...YES.

  7. yes...He might be a good hitter but Manny being Manny is not cool anymore..

  8. Well it all depends who replaces him.

If they don't get anyone back, then no of course not. That's not even a discussion. Having Manny Ramirez would make any lineup in baseball better. The Red Sox have been dealing with his personality for so many years now and it hasn't been a problem. He had demanded a trade several times before and it hasn't been a problem. His personality and antics is not having a significant effect on the Red Sox. His bat does have a significant effect to the lineup. The Red Sox obviously would not be better without him.

  9. yes he is hurting the redsox by his behaviors in the dugout and not hustling on the field. but im a yankkee fan o go yankees

  10. Well Manny isnt getting any younger and there is many younger OFs the Red Sox could pursue..but as of right now i dont see the Red Sox getting rid of him..yet..

  11. I really think Manny is jealousy of David Ortiz and with big pa pi back in the lineup, it takes some of the limelight away from Manny! p.s. I'm a Yankee fan--just my op ion

  12. He is past his prime and the Red Sox would be smart to unload him for some good young talent while they can get good talent in return for him.  I've never denied Manny being a good player, but I've never been a fan of his. I do think that the Red Sox would be better without him, but I'm not Theo Epstein and it's not my decision to make.

  13. I think that he doesn't want to be their anymore and his "Manny being Manny" antics have gotten out of hand

  14. if you don't want him.                                                                we'll take his 4.0.0 on base percentage

  15. No, He is past his prime but was a BIG reason for there 2 world series. Manny would be a great leader for the younger player on the team. He can still play and is would help the red sox,

This is coming from a Yankees Fan

  16. He one of the best hitters in mlb  no way is red sox going to have another bat like manny.

I dont think he would be. but if red sox do pick up his opitons

make sure this never happens again

Manny is not past his prime yet and you all know it

  17. If they get rid of him, how do they replace his numbers?

If they don't, there's fourth place.
