  1. Stop asking about WW3. There were many similar questions. It is boring already.

  2. i hope to God not. because if it does there is a very likely chance that the world would be destroyed. Because i believe that that they would use nukes and both Russia and the US have plenty of those and if they run out of those then they can use mother and father of all bombs and will be one h**l of a show for all the people that are not effected but for those that are, well they will be dead.

    check out these site.

  3. Only if Israel gets more involved, but they backed off.

  4. No, Russia is now tied economically to the US and Europe.  They can't afford to start WW3.

  5. Definitely. The parallels are so striking, it's terrifying.

    Compare these two:

The German dictator Hitler ruled a country, Germany, that felt defeated by their humbling in the First World War. Rousing his country behind him with talk that addressed this inferiority complex, he controlled news media, and established organizations in his country to mold popular opinion behind him. One such, designed to indoctrinate the youth with ethnic chauvinism and patriotic support of his dictatorship, was the Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth). On the pretext of protecting ethnic Germans in the Sudetenland in Chechoslovakia, he invaded the Sudetenland. The Europeans and Americans, tired of their recent experience with war, were more willing to let him do so than to go to war with him then. Eventually, when the stakes were higher and the price in blood was vastly greater, the choice was much more terrible.

The Russian dictator Putin rules a country, Russia, that feels defeated by their humbling in the Cold War. Rousing his country behind him with talk that addresses this inferiority complex, he controls news media, and established organizations in his country to mold popular opinion behind him. One such, designed to indoctrinate the youth with ethnic chauvinism and patriotic support of his dictatorship, is Nasha (Our Russia). On the pretext of protecting ethnic Ossetians in South Ossetia in Georgia, he invaded South Ossetia. The Europeans and Americans, tired of their recent experience with war, are more willing to let him do so than to go to war with him now. Eventually, when the stakes are higher and the price in blood will be vastly greater, the choice will be much more terrible.

  6. WW III no. New cold war is a distinct possibility.

  7. I suppose it could, but I don't think it will because virtually all of Europe is on Georgia's side (except of course Russia), however World War I was caused by an insignificant country, Serbia, being invaded by a powerhouse, Austro-Hungarian empire, but I think the EU will handle this situation better than war starved emperors at the beginning of the 20th century. EDIT, that is a good point, but money makes the world go round and when it comes to making a profit,on such a large scale, politics don't typically come into play.

  8. Not a chance...

    We wouldnt let it.

Russia is not the Russia we used to know.  Look at the Medal count in the Olympics.

If this was China doing this to Taiwan, I might lean more your way.  However... This is a country 3 times the size of South Carolina, that tested Russias patience, and now got pummeled and Russia is making sure it doesnt happen again.

Does like Russia like us there?  Probably as much as we like Cuba being pro Russia.

So ultimately, no... WWIII is not going to happen from this.

  9. There will be no WW III in the nearest future. World weapons are too strong now. Everyone understands that this war can destroy the whole humanity
