  1. If they can get Longoria back soon and if their starting rotation keeps pitching well, I think they have a shot.


  2. Yes I think so, the month of september will keep them on their toes into the post season.  It will be fun to watch either way.

  4. I dont think they will win it but I do think they will be the ALCS champs. I think they will lose in 5 games to the Cubbies.

I dont even know anymore....... if you asked anyone before the season if they would have a winning record you would probably get laughed at....so this has been a season of suprises so I would say why not it could deff happen but i dont think that they they will because of inexpirience but who knows it could happen for sure

  8. Any of the teams that make the playoffs have a shot of winning the World Series as anything can happen at any given moment in time during the post season.

  9. I think they will lose in the pennant round. However, if they don't they'll probably lose the Series.

Anything is possible, the Rays have done considerably well against all the playoff contenders. 6-3 against the Angels. 3-0 against the Cubs. 6-6 against the Red Soxs. 2-0 against the Twins. 3-0 against the Brewers. 5-1 against the Marlins...the only team that they've done bad against is the Cardinals, and Cards are not gunna make the playoffs. They've been terrible against the Indians and the Yankees, but both those teams won't be in the playoffs so the Rays have a good chance.

They have as good a chance as anybody.  The injuries, inexperience, or whatever reason that everyone said would be their demise, haven't affected their winning ways.  They won their series vs LAA and Chisox without Longoria, Crawford and Percival.  Every player contributes and they aren't slowing down.  I think the Twins would give them the most trouble in the post season.

    I'm a Rays fan and don't want to come out and say yes b/c I don't want to jinx them.  Plus they haven't won anything yet.  They still aren't a lock for the playoffs.  Although they're looking good.

    It's been a great season for them, though.

  19. NEGATIVE...THEY'VE GOT A GOOD THING GOING ON BUT THE POSTSEASON IS WHOLE DIFFERNET BALLGAME AND EXPERIENCE  COUNTS...THEY'RE DOING GOOD BUT THEY'RE STILLA COUPLE YEARS AWAY FROM A CHAMPIONSHIP..
