Feels like one to me. Higher prices everywhere, cost of living raises arent enough to keep up, real estate market slump, stocks all over the place.

A recession may involve simultaneous declines in coincident measures of overall economic activity such as employment, investment, and corporate profits.

People are getting laid off, jobs are moving overseas to cut costs, and profits are generally only seen in the pockets of crude oil companies and they are some greedy people.
