Do you think the UK driving age of 17 should be higher?

At present the minimum age to obtain a provisional licence is 17. Do you think this is ok? Or would increasing it to say 18 or 21 lower accident stats?

  1. Just came from England, the kids there drive like maniacs. Make it 21.

Comparing the UK to the US...yes it should either be raised or the classes should be longer so that the students will learn more plus you should not get a permit after just taking the minimum time that is required, they should triple the time and yes this would cut down on accidents............

  3. They could raise it to 99+ and still have problems  unless you think safety
