And now do you think that the US is measuring the Russians with finalizing a deal with Poland on the same type of system? I am sure Poland is scared, and I wonder if the US took advantage of that to see where they weigh in the scheme of things, especially wanting to install one in a NATO Country. What are your thoughts?

  1. america had nothing to do with russia invading georgia...the russians forced georgia too attack south ossetia by using provocations with sniper fire..the georgians arent going to be like "oh hey lets attack russia whats the worst that could happen?". Russia is doing this so that Georgia wont join up with NATO and ukraine might be next. Just so you know russia invaded afghanistan and had minor battles during the USSR in countries such as hungary and baku and czechoslovakia. russia wont be able to do anything to poland because if it attacks poland then NATO will step in and that will cause WWIII. this could be the start of a new cold war though.

  2. Educate yourself just a bit. The US never wanted to install anything in Georgia. This is about energy. A major oil and gas pipeline passes through Georgia to supply Europe with oil and gas. The Russians are working to control all the supply of energy to Europe so Europe will be under the thumb of Russia. Russia is acting like it's old self again. It's cold war time.

  3. I think it would have been better suited in North Dakota

  4. I am surprised the Americans did not want to put their missile base in the outskirts of Moscow.!! Its a stupid thing to do to put this base anywhere in Eastern Europe. Who do the Americans think they are protecting ?. Russia,France, Britain and even Israel have atomic weapons not including China, Pakistan and possibly India resulting in over 65 years of peace . Why spoil that by testing the Russians who I may add have not invaded a foreign country since WW2 and even that was in self defence. Can America say the same ?

  5. Heck no. The US is just big bullys and we stick our noses into everyones problems. GEZZZ i say we just let them take care of its themselves! AMERICA PLEASE QUIT PLAYING DOCTOR YOU CANT FIX EVERYONE!!

  6. How would you explain it to Americans if Russia was putting a missile defense system in Mexico and Canada? Do you really think anyone but Russia and the US have missiles that would overfly these areas. Consider our presidents record. If he starts WW3 the day before he leaves office, I won't be surprised.

This is a system that could be put into position by navy ships, but they can't threaten Russia like a big spy system all around their border.

  7. "Why spoil that by testing the Russians who I may add have not invaded a foreign country since WW2 and even that was in self defence."

Huh?!?! Where'd we get this dude at? An elementary school? For his info, Russia invaded Czeckoslovakia in the 50s, just to name one!! Moron...

  8. What looks like good intentions from one point of view might look like bad intentions from the opposite point of view.  And that's what the current disagreement between Russia and USA is all about.

Russia and USA no longer trust each other's intentions. And it looks like the beginning of a new Cold War.  Russia will probably make a lot of noise about these US missiles in Poland in order to justify its intervention in Georgia and Ukraine and prevent them from joining NATO.

It looks like George Bush has done something with these missiles that Putin probably would've wanted him to do.  Now Russia may say that due to new hostile intentions from NATO countries, Russia doesn't feel safe enough to leave Georgia and let NATO base its missiles and troops there.

I think George Bush has just guaranteed that Russia will not leave Georgia as promised in the ceasefire agreement.

  9. bush is playing a dangerous game.

  10. Every bit of recent world policing the USA has done was with bad intentions.
