Gold? Royals? They'd still have to get past the Cubans. They may end up with the Bronze, though.

Royals are far from meaningless They have a good history & used to give the Yankees fits during the 70's & 80's. If ownership didn't mess them up the way they did they would still be a great team.

Even the ROYALS could beat the c**p out of anybody there, and we don't need them here, so why not?

I live in KC and would not send the Royals to the Olympics.  We would have a better chance sending the winner of the LLWS to represent the US.  The Royals are to much of a streak team and by that I mean they like to go on 5-6 game losing streaks they rarly have a winning streak.

They throw parties and plan parades if they win 2 in a row.
