  1. The United States is partly, or largely (depending on your view of the pertinent history), responsible for the development of the operations systems that were necessary for mass production of automobiles.  The US may not have produced every single technology required for the Ford-style factories, but it did play a large role in the overall development of the automobile production lines.

    It is clear, however, that Ford and Olds were both very important to the development of the widespread use of the factory systems that  we use today.


  2. The real problem,  USA still making 15 milles for gallon cars....like charger, most of the truks.
