Do you think the USSR and USA will ever have an all out, face to face battle?

I mean each superpower sends its own troops and weapons to fight each other...not just back an uprising somewhere...

I think it might need to come to that, but I think Russia is basically a paper tiger with no real power behind their show of force.  I think they are testing the limits to see how far they can go before we put a stop to it.

Both sides realize it would be national suicide to go face to face with each other.  Tactical and strategic nukes have defined foreign policies on both sides.... true story.

Doubtful, since the USSR ceased to exist in 1991.

i hope we dont... but its imminent that it wil happen with the fact of the georgia conflict and the anti-ballistic missile systems we installed around the borders of poland... theyre pissed bout that. we have 2 get involved with georgia soon because its all bout the oil. the Britsh Petroleum pipeline runs through there and that is very valuable to us... so yes, we probably will.

Yes, maybe you gave been watching too many videos. In the the meantime in the real world the USSR has ceased to exist, and the dozen or so republics are separate countries.

If you mean will Russia and the USA have a major face to face battle. I hope not.

nah they wont fight for one reason nukes, if one sends a nuke out this whole world will be blown to a big ball of blackness
