The anitchrist is not one person but many. Any person or organization that teaches lies about Christ is the anitchrist. That is why they are called the antichrist. It means against Christ.The word antichrist is only mentioned in the espistles of John. The antichrist was in existence in John's day too. Some think that the beast with the 666 is the anitchrist in Revelation but that is not true. In Revelation the number 7 means perfect. The number 6 imperfect. The number 6 to the third power means evil. So the beast is evil and since beasts in the Bible mean governments, the beast with the 666 is an evil government that will rule over the world. Satan's government. In order for people to survive under his rule they must show support for his government by thoughts and actions. That is why Revelation symbolically mentions that everyone must have the mark of the beast either on their heads (support mentally) or hands (support by actions). The true religion will not give support to the beast and the beast and it's followers will attack the true people of God. When they start attacking them it will be like they are touching God's eyeball. Jehovah will go into a rage and bring destruction upon the beast and his followers. Only those whom Jehovah deems worthy will survive the attack on ungodly mankind. Then the earth will be restored to the paradise God intended in the first place. No more sickness, pain or death. Rev 21:4.
