Do you think the cartoon show "Total Drama Island" is making fun of teenagers?

I don't watch cartoon network but,I happened to find this show and was first wondering if little kids are supposed be watching it because,it's a little more grown up.The thing that bothered me was,do think the show displays teenagers properly or do you think there mocking them?I really can't tell.

Yeah, it takes all teenage stereotypes to its fullest and thats why I watched the show. Because its somewhat true in a way. They have the best and most typical stereotypes: bad rocker who isn't so bad, dumb blonde who actually is more dumber than she looks, cowboy who is dumb but not considered that way, goth hardcore chick who doesn't seem so hardcore, nerdy dweeb who everyone picks on, jock who is afraid of his own shadow in actuality, perfect princess who's not as perfect as she thinks she is, loud and ghetto girl who doesn't have any sides to her than that, etc. It's a good show, I love how it mocks teenagers. Teenager need to be mocked. I'm a teenager bythe way, so don't get offended.

Yes it does.  It spoofs all teens and reality shows in general.  My little brother (who is 12) watches it becuase he thinks its a good show.  I actually saw a few episodes and I thought it was funny too (I am 19 in college)

Since there were jokes that only I got, I have to assume this show is ment to attract all audiences....

Well most teenagers act sort of like that.

I know alot of teenagers, and I see them act sort of like they do on Total Drama Island.

But I think at some points it seems like they're mocking them.

I don't think small children should watch it because of the personalities they can pick up from that.

Yes Lol, my brother records it all the time, I think it does make fun of teenagers, good thing I barely watch CN anymore, it's all about CN's Toonami and Adult Swim Lol

ya its more of a kinda sorta pretty much thing cuz they do make fun of teenagers alot but it also resembles some teens in a few ways
