  1. well actually we are rather drooping into a developing country status. we are recently producing cars, exporting nuclear electricity for dumping prices, and some of the elctronics stuff, such as display units etc.

Generally the life quality is good. the prices here are about the price levels in Germany, yet people generally earn about one third to one quarter of the fee of comparable workers in the western Europe.

Politically we have not yet reached the political culture of the western world, since our politicans do not feel obliged to resign if anything bad happens to be uncovered against them.

the key problems of the Czech republic recently are:

    deteriorating public health care,

    corruption,

    deficit budget of the state,

    overgrown bureaoucracy,

wasting the goverment money in suspicious outsourcing contracts.

    underfunded, overtasked military.

  2. The Czech Republic is a successful country and member of NATO.

It is one of the most stable and prosperous of the post-communist countries. It highly developed industries, very interesting history which stretches back into the 12th century. Its arts are on a level comparable to any world country and it won 6 metals at the Beijing olympics, while its population is only 10 million people.

And the famous Czech beer is exported to the whole world and is considered one of the best quality beers.

It has a wildly successful hokey team.
