Do you think the democrats can pull it off?

I was relly impressed by Wrrners ideas the other day about the future jobs in renewable energy, and the explosion in the manufacturing and use of electric cars, do you think they can pull it of.

If there are future jobs in renewable energy it will be because that is where the marketplace and money is. Not because of anything the democrats might do.

Get people to work making alternative energy equipment and electric cars? Sure, just takes a little incentive. Germany is the largest producer of solar energy panels in the world. Why? Government requirements for installation. The US needs to get in now, before it is too late. I recall how the US used to be a leader in nuclear energy too, now countries would rather buy technology from Russia, despite thier bad track record for safety, but the US has just not done anything in so long....we need to get back in the game.

No. None of those industries will work under the huge new tax increases and spending programs proposed by the democrats.

It is truly amazing how easy Americans are at self delusion. They are not the fair, equality for all under one flag, sort of place, they dream they are living in. Not yet.

Democrats have fielded a candidate who is educated and comfortably middle class. Despite all his abilities, he will be despised by many who make up the envious majority of the electorate. They will go for Father Christmas McCain instead of some quick talking dude.

they lie better than anyone.do you know how many things are made from oil?? i thought so.wind and solar is fine but it has no output for what we need.

yes we can pull it off by the democrats because if we continue with the current state that we are in we will not make it. so i believe the democrats will win
