I have just read that Gala puts its land-based hall on market. The news can be read here: http://bingostreet.com/news-20080225/gala-puts-land-based-bingo-hall-on-the-market-online-bingo-news. Do you think online bingo marketers should expect a downturn as well?

  1. Hi,

No worries, online bingo will be fine:)

I checked your  source( http://bingostreet.com/online-bingo ) and if you read all the news, you'll find that online bingo is growing right now.

  2. Is this question extremely bizarre, or is it me?

  3. If anything I expect that it will benefit the online business.

If bricks and mortar operators like Gala are threatened by events or forces that effect their hall-based business, they'll inevitably look to the internet to recoup any losses or downturn.

As more and more halls close, I expect the online industry to grow bigger. The smoking ban was of course the worst thing to happen for hall based operations.
