  1. I don't think the world is ending ever. Well the planet will probably eventually be consumed by the sun but existence will keep on keepin on.

Though I don't think the world will end there will be a catastrophic population loss. The population is expanding past the point of sustenance, the world water supply is shrinking, or rather it is replenishing at the usual rates while more consume it. So tensions will increase and wars will be fought over water and of course this will have an effect on supply causing even more to die (repeat ad nauseum or until enough water is present and available for those still living). It will be similar to animal populations that have breed past the point of their environment to sustain them.

  2. I agree, gas does not affect the world, in that way.

  3. No.

    Not anytime soon.

I believe the world will end when there is no more solar energy (when the sun burnt out). So the earth still have a long time ahead.

  4. What do gas prices have to do with the end of the world?

With global warming, yeah I sometimes think the world is coming to an end. But gas prices??

  5. the end of the world has nothing to do with gas prices...not that im aware of.

  6. Ok, at first I thought the mention of gas prices was ridiculous to having it entwined with the end of the world, but.....I'm not ruling it out as a factor.  Consider this, what happens to people in general when things don't go the way they want them, fear, panic, depression, insanity.  With gas prices come expense for food, everyday items, trips to the store, your electric bill, your babysitter to travel where you are, companies downsizing more to meet their expense FOR gas AND energy, loss of jobs, etc.  I think people take "end of the world" a bit too literal.  Doesn't mean the human race will die, just at some point the bubble will burst and a new, maybe even catastrophic, change will occur, so the end of the "world" as we know it the way it is now, will have to happen.  And stop with the global warming, we've had them before since the ice age and we've had drops in temperature, d**n.  There's always going be changes in climate, and drastic changes environmentally no matter what we do.  Dinasours didn't let out a huge f**t to cause the Ice Age did they.  But with the needless wars, terrorist attacks, unstable and increasingly corrupt governments, unrest in evermore places on earth and increasing in magnitude and frequency? Yes some "Change" is going to happen inevitably soon.  Be Ready.

  7. Economic collapse is inevitable...with a capitalistic structure as we have...it's built-in to fail,,,but it will take yrs & yrs to come to pass...Don't worry...things will be fine for some time to come,

  8. It's coming who knows when or why.

  9. No more so than WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and so forth.  There was also a gas shortage, and extreme prices on gas in the 1970's.  The world could have ended with any of those, and it could end now, there's no way of knowing.

  10. I don't understand why high gas prices would signal the apocalypse.

  11. Not the end of the world, but the beginning of hard times.

  12. maybe... dunno.

  13. no one can know...but with gas at this high the people with the money from the profits are going to control use and if we don't get a new fuel soon (which ik there is one out there)  we will drown in are own greed for oil

  14. high gas prices are the end of the world for you? Please spare me the what comes after that.......Britney?

  15. The world will go into another depression in like 10 or 20 years if the troops in Iraq aren't pulled. I am for the war but I just for the economies sake, I just have to say pull them.

  16. if "peak oil" is true how they say it will happen. (But i know it won't happen like that) then yes it will be the end of the world for billions of people. But i seriously doubt we are there yet. and i don't think it will happen quite like they say. But its good to get prepared just in case.

  17. you ask if the end of the world is at hand with the gas prices on the rise guess what the bible says a measure of wheat for a penny and three measures of barley for a penny and see that you don't hurt the oil or the wine. that was the 4th seal. the passage was talking about a time of plenty and we are now in the 5th seal.  facing world famine on a scale the likes that man has never seen and the price of oil seems to keep getting higher and higher Adding to the world crop problems coupled with the war in the middle east the bible also says that a third part of man will be killed in and around the great river Euphrates and that's just the first conflict and will ultimately end in a nuclear all out war with the US, Russia, and China check out the latest on drudge  but the world will not end 4/5 of the population will die but a fifth will survive that's just under 2 billion just look at the news and you can tell that it's just a matter of time. the bible hasn't been wrong yet with prophecy I wouldn't want to bet against it now

  18. Gas prices? i don't think so

Obviously the world is going to end on december 23 2012 when the mayan calendar ends and Quexocuatyl comes down and kicks all our butts.
