Almost all of the prophecies in the Bible has taken place except the Anti-Christ. People say "well theirs no such thing as a prophet", but the things that are happening now is outrages. Please I want to hear non-believers and believers opinions. Thanks

  1. I believe so

  2. rofll for the one above me!! wat a doof

why would you ask that.. it scares me to even think it!!

  3. the end of the world will either happen when humans exhaust all resources or the sun eventually burns out. Both ar quite a while off yet.

  4. If Obama is elected president then I'd believe that the end is near

  5. Sorry I can't tell you when I plan to end the world.

  6. It's only near in the minds of the zealous Christians. I don't understand how you people have such a fervor for the end of all humanity. It seems like that want and need breaks a lot of those commandments you tout so proudly.

  7. HAVE you watched the news on television and wondered, ‘What is this world coming to?’ Tragic things happen so suddenly and unexpectedly that no human can predict what tomorrow will bring. (James 4:14) However, Jehovah knows what the future holds

    (Isaiah 46:10) the One telling from the beginning the finale, and from long ago the things that have not been done; the One saying, ‘My own counsel will stand, and everything that is my delight I shall do’;

Long ago his Word, the Bible, foretold not only the bad things happening in our day but also the wonderful things that will occur in the near future.

Jesus Christ spoke about the Kingdom of God, which will bring an end to wickedness and make the earth a paradise.

(Luke 4:43) But he said to them: “Also to other cities I must declare the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this I was sent forth.”

People wanted to know when the Kingdom would come. In fact, Jesus’ disciples asked him: “What will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” (Matthew 24:3) In reply Jesus told them that only Jehovah God knew exactly when the end of this system of things would come.

Aside from identifying certain world developments, the Bible foretold that the last days would be marked by a change in human society. The apostle Paul described what people in general would be like. At 2 Timothy 3:1-5, we read: “In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.” In part, Paul said that people would be

    ▪ lovers of themselves

    ▪ lovers of money

    ▪ disobedient to parents

    ▪ disloyal

    ▪ having no natural affection

    ▪ without self-control

    ▪ fierce

    ▪ lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God

    ▪ having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power

Have people become like that in your community? No doubt they have. There are people everywhere who have bad traits. This shows that God will soon act, for the Bible says: “When the wicked ones sprout as the vegetation and all the practicers of what is hurtful blossom forth, it is that they may be annihilated forever.”—Psalm 92:7.

So yes, Ithink the end of wicked people is near but the earth will not be destroyed as some people think.

  8. Try going to a Christian bookstore and asking for books on the endtimes. One that I read recently detailed why the world could/should end soon. It does seem that the time is coming closer and closer.

  9. The end is closer then you think yes prophecy is being full filled

Yes there is a such thing as  prophets read in the book of Revelation

it will tell you about the two prophets that will return to earth the anti christ will appear after the rapture YES there is going to be  RAPTURE

and tribulation its also in the book of Matthew as well read it and believe it

  10. Things happening now are no worse than in the past. In fact, the past was much, much worse. I believe things are getting better in most ways.

The Iraq war is nothing compared to WWI and WWII.

You should be grateful to live in such a peaceful time with such a bright outlook for us all. There's too many people talking about doom and gloom. It's up to us to make sure it doesn't happen that way.

  11. again.....oy

  12. No! But the end of humanity might be.

  13. Nobody knows when the end will be. We are not meant to know. The purpose is to live our lives like it may come anytime.   +?+

  14. There are a ba-jillion undone prophesies in the Bible. We're not even close.

  15. I doubt that any one really knows.... and certainly not me.

  16. BELIEVER. The end is surely here. All the prophecies have been fulfilled. We already have lots of antichrists. the only thing really in question, is have the entire world had the opportunity to accept Christ.

1 John 2:18     Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1 John 2:22     Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Pray for the unbelievers and get your house in order.

  17. The end being near -- a deep desire of all Christians; however, we should be happy to simply do God's will in our daily lives.

    Still,

if the problems between the west and Russia (in which it seems that the west is doing the initial pushing of Russia as scripture demands) turn out to grow out of hand -- then it may just be that we are at the stage of Daniel 11:40, the last great pushing between the world powers before the end.

As all Christians concerned about the end, we should be careful to be awake to such possibilities and not be caught unawares if such events take place.  Of course, to keep awake to the possibilities and to the political realities of our world is different from being so blinded by our own desires that we state that this is so before it proves to be so.

Thus while the past clearly has seen Daniel's prophecy fulfilled in our times and more is sure to come, the question we need to answer is, can we wait patiently until things truly demonstrate themselves to be what we are waiting for?

My cousin likes to joke, 'the end is coming in October or April', and if nothing happens, he says it again next year - thereby demonstrating his sense of humor and patience.  This is because we know that many prophecies begin their fulfillment during either October or April, and we all know that this is his perennial joke.

  18. The earth is in the midst of a mass extinction event precipitated by human-generated climate change. There is a very high probability that, not only will human civilization collapse sometime in the next one hundred years, but humanity itself will face extinction during this same period. This, however, has nothing to do with the mindless, primitive dribble that constitutes the bible or other stone age writings.

  19. only if u believe in prison rape

  20. I think it's close..maybe not my lifetime but soon enough.

  21. Actually, the Anti-Christ has already lived and died.

The Anti-Christ aka The Beast (666) was the Roman Emperor Nero.

At least that's the opinion held by a lot of scholars.

The Book of Revelations is thought to have been written during or very close to the time Nero ruled the Roman Empire.

During his reign he frequently prosecuted Jews and Christians, killing a number of them (as well as allegedly killing the apostles Peter and Paul).

He was an extremely harsh and violent ruler, frequently executing people including his own mother. He *was* a beast. Not to mention that his name comes out as 666 by using a method of numerical values used back then.

It is far more likely that Revelations relates to Nero and the time it was written in. The alternative possibility is that it was written as a prophecy of things to come nearly 2000 years after it was written (assuming it happens soon). The first of these options are more likely, and the argument has more proof behind it.

All throughout history people have thought they were living in the Biblical end times. During the Roman Empire with Nero. During the plagues and Crusades of Europe. During WW2 with the n***s. 2000 years of millions of people being wrong.

So no, I don't think the end of the world is near. I don't believe that's what Revelations was referring to.

  22. If you consider 5 billion years to be 'near' then yes

  23. Well the end of the cold war may have postponed a nuclear holocaust, but now that nuclear weapons have been invented it is, I fear, only a matter of time. To quote Einstein:

"Only two things are infinite. The universe and human stupidity - and I'm not sure about the former."

  24. Don't worry yourself my child... you still have 8 years 4 months 2 days 14 hours and 3.7 seconds to repent to me!!!  That's more then enough time, so hurry!

Seriously, its been near to every generation that have come and gone. It's not over til it's over so go play!

  25. No.  The world's changing as it always has and always will, though we do a fine job of s******g ourselves and it could end up being our downfall.  That said, I think we've got a long way to go before our checks are cashed.

  26. JESUS IS COMING BACK PREPARE

  27. Near to what?

  28. well now is drawing near ...we have many none believers, lots and lots with zealous radical deceptions of the bible,we have wars rumors of wars, plague, ect . strange weather.. man has heated the globe need i say more.....

  29. Well, I believe it is only a matter of a short time until a nuclear exchange takes place. It may not completely end the world as we know it but billions will die and those that survive will be living as humans did in the Stone Age.

We want to advance, always advance our culture and education, but with that comes problems that we can't seem to foresee. The more educated the general population is, the more those that wish to cause harm have the ability to cause great harm.

Every single invention, no matter what that invention is, has been and always will be looked at first as to how it can be used to destroy.

We believe that technology is a great thing and it is, but that technology can and will be used to destroy. All of history proves that.

If Hitler or the Japanese had discovered the atomic bomb before the US did, there is no doubt that our world would not have survived, at least not as it is.

  30. Ignorance is bliss. Live life while not knowing the future is better. And no matter what happens, life would go on... (bacteria) LOL XD!
