Obama is more qualified than Palin. I think it is so funny that they are comparing the presidential candidate with the V.P.

That is like asking if the plant manager is as qualified as the C.E.O.

  1. You may like Obama and what he is promising you , but at the end of the day is can you deep down TRUST him with his shaky past and a no proven record ?

I do not believe he can unite white Americans and will drive a deeper divide between blacks and whites. Neither Obama or McCain have a good program to get America out of debt and on the way to recovery.

  2. Considering the fact that Obama spent 140 days as a US Senator before hitting the campaign trail, it is a last ditch effort. And he has never run a state, so what makes anyone think he can run the country? His tax plan will run us into the ground. He is calling for economic disaster by penalizing successful businesses. Can you hear that great sucking sound  that Ross Perot talked about, warned about and happened as our jobs headed to Mexico after the NAFTA agreement Clinton put in place. And since then, the great sucking sound headed to Canada, mexico, India, pakistan, China and so on. With Obama's taxes, that sucking sound will happen with hurricane force speed.

  3. McCain/Palin represent real change and it has democrats running for cover. Obamas promise of change if I may quote him is" Just words ".

  4. I thought that was odd that they said the experience issue is off the table for McCain because his vp was a governor for a short time, in that short time as being governor she's done many good things for her state, taking on big oil, ousting dirty officials, shooting down wastefull spending on the bridge to nowhere, and her people love her.

Why should she be compared to the presidential slot and even when she is she still has more experience managing a territory than obama. All obama is doing right now is listening to other people around him and saying what he thinks you want to hear.

Bill clinton was right, Obama is brand X.

  5. Yes, they are beside themselves, obamanites can't handle that Palin has more experience, obama had to back down...ooops!

  6. Doesn't make a l**k of sense to me. If I became a liberal university professor would it?

  7. When she wipes Biden's butt in the debate they'll be singing a different tune. She is the perfect person to tear his "foreign policy" record to shreds. Biden was for running away, and he was against the surge. She's going to tear him a new one and he can't say a thing about her in response.

  8. Tell me what the Vice President does and I'll let you know if executive experience is a requirement.

Once you learn what the VP does, you'll already have the answer.

  9. Let me preface by saying that I am still on the fence, but I am most likely going to vote for Obama.

That being said, I do not think that for one moment, either ticket is free and clear. Obama has a slight edge, however, in most cases it is still a pretty close election. Palin has been criticized for her lack of experience, but even this a.m., on Yahoo, there are reports of her pro-life & NRA membership stimulating conservatives to hop on board for McCain. Many conservatives have noted, just as you have, that the selection of Palin really voids the experience argument re: Obama.

If you truly want your candidate to win, I would like to respectfully suggest that you start comparing and contrasting the issues, and not fall prey to the petty schoolyard harping of many on Y/A.

  10. No, I see the Republicans embellishing her resume and 1 1/2 years as a the governor of one of the least populated states in the USA doesn't make her an expert, besides Mc Cain can't have it both ways, running a campaign on experience and choosing a running mate that is very inexperienced doesn't make sense to me.

  11. That is so true... they cant win with comparing Obama to Mccain s they have to compare Obama t her.

  12. The Democratic Party is scared of Governor Palin.

The Biden/Obama ticket is in real trouble, and they know it.

  13. I like your analogy, and I don't follow the Dems' logic either.  They go on and on about how this inexperienced woman could be a heartbeat away from the presidency, yet they want a guy with an empty suit and an even emptier head to actually be the president.  Personally, I am enjoying watching the liberals squirm and slobber because McCain stole their messiah's thunder.

  14. Of course it is a last ditch effort.  They say she is one step away from being the President, but they want to vote him in as President.  Her time as governor is more than his 143 days in the senate.   ***

  15. Last ditch effort?

Dude, the ditch is far from being dug.

A last ditch effort is something that happens at the end, not at the beginning of the real slug fest that is about to errupt between the parties and November.

  16. Democrats are just plain scared and they should be. Their ticket was flawed from he beginning with Barrack " please don't read my racist books" Obama, but when they added that empty sack Joe Biden, whose been wrong more than he has been right, it became a disaster !

A democrats worst enemy is a 'fact'. Palin is more qualified than either Obama or Biden. She has actually had to make a payroll, run a government on both city and state level, dealt with unions and big oil directly, has been  a mayor,a governor, and an ethics chairman. You dems might not be familiar with that word "ethics". Look it up. It's everything you're not. Dems are afraid of Palin because she stands for real justice for the people. She has highest favorable rating of any governor in the Country at 82% ! That is a fact that the dems can't hide from and can't spin. So if you want to talk qualified, you don't want to talk about Obama or Biden. We're taking back our Country and it starts this November, all over America !

  17. This is just the start of many assaults That will be against Sarah Palin. mainly because she is a woman. But, the more the public  gets to know this woman  and her honesty ,And the plus factor  of her going after the crooks in politics,.I think in the end, She will rise high above your  average lying ,and  the false promises of the typical politician..  I think she will be like a breath of fresh air to those of us who hate crooked politicians . Before this election is over, I think you will also see the true colors. Of Obama, and Biden, and McCain and Palin.  And that will be good. Then, we the voters can go to the polls and vote for whom we think is the best for America..

  18. No.  But I do think that picking Palin is a last ditch effort to sway Hillary supporters.

  19. Maybe because he should be running for Bidens VP spot!
