  1. this won't happen. It's too late for Strahan to get into "game shape". Seriously, why would the Giants pay him 8 Million, when (at least early in the season) he will be nothing more than a part time player while he works himself into shape? No training camp (and yes, I know he skipped training camp last year, but he still knew he was going to play & was training on his own), no off season conditioning. And 8 million?

  2. Strahan has supposedly come out and said he would come back for $8 million.

The Giants offered him $6.5 million at the end of 2007 and he refused but he said for $8.0 he would return for one season if they asked him to.

However, he would be just a patch and wouldn't really be needed. While the Giants led the league in sacks last year they really didn't start to perform well until Eli stopped making mistakes. Even without Strahan and Osi the Giants still have a solid defense.

Consider this, almost every team in the NFC has experienced some losses so it really isn't a major set back.

  3. the gaints are screwed anyway. yes i said gaints.

  4. no, he will get an offer of like 8million for one season, but I say he stays retired..

  5. I wish but probably not. He's not in top football shape right now and it's way too close to the season. Anyway we have Justin Tuck who was almost MVP of the Superbowl last year so he's pretty beast. And Kiwanuka can hold it down for Osi. It won't be as good but it'll be enough

  6. no
