  1. Only if the government subsidizes it for us...

One way would be to DROP the taxes the govt levys on each gallon of gas...like what about One day per week, NO gas taxes...how much would that save per gallon?  40 cents?  Have no idea..

    Just a thought.....

  2. maybe a little but then they will hit a new high. this cycle will remain for quite some time.

  3. its funny how this wasnt a problem until the price went up. why didnt we think of alternative energy a few years ago?

i hate america's reactiveness. instead of avoiding the potential problem, they have to "think on their feet" and solve the problem they could've stopped.

  4. not until the greenie's are out of the congress  we must use the supply we have  coal etc. we are Americans and I don't want these people in my congress.

  5. No.  Demand has increased due a rising consumer culture in China and India, among other things.  Gas is a finite resource as well.   I am pinning my hopes, my votes and my current choices on changing our American lifestyle to one this is simpler and less focused on consumerism.  I am riding my bike to and from work these day, though I have a car, and finding it is the most enjoyable part of my day.  I just voted to raise the sales tax in my community to support expanded bus service, which I intend to use.  While some people choose to look at this as an "outrage", I am choosing to view this as an opportunity.

  6. NO!

  7. no alternative fuel vehicles will become more available and cheaper

  8. No I don't, I think it will go to $10 anyway.

  9. Not unless the oil companies get some competition.  We need bio fuels, gas from coal and other alternatives.
