  1. YES Yes Yes and then some. They need to think about protecting our country instead of tearing it apart. We have nevcer been so unsafe as we are today. The use of bullying has. We have bullied and bullied other countries until the people hate us....this creates terrorist. Let's take the power away fromt he Presidency and protect our rights here at home and abroad.

  2. ;Wouldn't that be a nice change? If our own Government took into consideration of the people who are starving, homeless and out of work here in America.  If they would actually give the government back to the people. The Gas prices are ridiculous, which causes everything else to rise in price to pay for the gas. I think its time the people started standing up for ourselves and fighting back for America and not for all these other countries that are killing our soldiers for what reason?  Cause of their own problems that they have caused themselves.  We need to take care of our own.   No doubt about that one.

  3. I believe until more middle class and working people begin to realize that voting is about the biggest most futile activity they could possibly imagine and they the above are the least represented by either party, then and only then, will changes be made.

  4. America must rethink of its foreign policy before the local economy will be absorbed by the burden of of being indebted to countries like China.

  5. in the big picture we are. if we do not help other smaller countries around the world, the gravity of the larger countries will draw them in, willing or not on the other hand, we can not become isolationist. we will be alright, and to think we will never have another depression, hurricane katrina, terrorist attack is naive. we just have to be better at being prepared.

  6. While I feel at times that the Americans do have an obligation to get involved in certain world affairs (such as the genocide that is currently going on in Durfur), there is a bigger obligation to first take care of our citizens...something that is sorely lacking right now.  It seems that the Bush administration is only concerned with what is going on in the middle east, and when it's confronted with a crisis right here on American soil (Hurricane Katrina for example), they are at a total loss because the Administration no longer has that necessary man power of the military or the money to fund a relief effort...all those men and women and all that money are all overseas.

Now, I don't know about whether or not we are heading into another depression, but I do know that if the administration doesn't start acting now, we are really going to be suffering down the road as our health care is just getting worse, social security is in trouble, the money that should be spent on educational and research reasons are being spend for military purposes, etc.
