  1. They pretty much do already.

  2. Normally I would say yes, but currently the Bush administration has put our government so far into debt that they literally could not do this even if they wanted to. They need to clean up house before they can really help anyone with anything right now. If they ever get their finances straightened out again, then I would support this idea in a heart beat. But you have to be realistic about it. If they don't have the money, they don't have the money.

  3. It depends on the situation. Yes, to someone that is ill and is an American with no insurance. No to the illegals that come here and have about 20 babies each.

  4. Emergency rooms definitely.  Dental plans and viagra h**l no.

  5. I say yes, for people who work hard but don't qualify

for health insurance for themselves and their families.

After all, they deserve it since they're aiding our economy.

But some people I feel just don't deserve it. I mean, the

people who dropped out of high school and don't have

a job and live on the streets begging for money and food.

But, there are always exceptions to every rule, some kids

are kicked out of their homes young and can no longer

attend school. But for the ones who dropped out because

of ignorance, and are trying to get free health care from the

government should go to Canada. Because really, the ignorant

drop-outs ultimately led themselves down that path

by choosing to make bad choices that they knew

would get them no where. Why fund health care for

people who don't help the economy. But I guess

someone is going to say that I am discriminating

against a certain group of people for that comment.

But so be it!!! Its my opinion. Its called freedom of speech.

    muhahahaa.

  6. Yes, because it will be cheaper, the government will keep an I on fraud. I hope it will itemize hospital bills.

  7. No.

  8. If you can tell me what part of the Constitution allows Congress to take money from citizens to pay for other citizens health care costs?

The general welfare clause only allows Congress to spend on the powers explicitly enumerated in the Constitution and not an unlimited power to tax. Do you remember the purpose of the Revolutionary War? Do you really think the founders would give Congress unlimited powers to tax it's citizens?

  9. Socialized medicine is comming.  We will all get to experience the crappy care like the VA puts out.

  10. i would hate to think of hardworking people out there not being able to get help. now for the lazy people that just take advantage of it..thats wrong.

  11. Why not as long as they are taxpayers or have been tax payers themselves at one time or another. Some of us work our butts off and don't qualify for benefits or just can't afford them so why not. The way the economy is the rich do get richer and fu** us poor people.  They could always put up a few road blocks like you have to be in the US for a certain amount of time say 2yrs and have worked at least 18 months to qualify....

  12. Maybe not for everyone because we are in such horrible debt, but I do think every American child under the age of 18 should have health insurance. I think that's the least we can do for the children of this country. We wonder why so many children are obese and it's because they don't learn how to take care of their bodies. Plus, they're children. There is no reason to punish them for their parents mistakes/income/etc....
