  1. The greatest teachers have a gift for and a presence in teaching.  Could be that their life experience has made it so, of course.  If I say I've conquered all illusion, isn't that an illusion of my own?  Whose truth would I be speaking?  =)

  2. Any leader who attained his/her position through conquest, is neither a noble chief or great teacher.

  3. please rephrase your question

  4. conquered all illusion… chew chew… could it be… has a hard time wrapping mind around concept… doesn’t like to know how the magicians do their tricks… they say that one killed the cat… fears the cat…

  5. Yes.  The genuine advanced teacher is easy to spot when it is noticed that personal gain and notoriety are not present in the teacher/leader.  The truth they speak come from the understanding that there is something greater than the self.

  6. I think that most great teacher and leaders have conquered something if at least themselves.  If you look into the personal lives of most of them you find that they have suffered greatly at some point in their lives and have overcome to get where they are at.

  7. Not at all.

The great teachers of the world are those who are more focused on obtaining wisdom and knowledge than conquering others for riches and land.

No true sage or prophet would bother with such material rewards.

  8. As a counterexample, I'll cite Pizarro and the Spaniard's conquest of the Incas. Pizarro destroyed thousands of years of learning with an army of under 200 people without reason, leaving modern times with a massive hole in our understanding of history.

  9. If you mean empires, I would say no.  Gandhi never even had any aspirations to conquer anything other than his own limitations to achieving immortality.  If you mean something like hearts and minds, then yes.  Christ conquered "an eye for an eye" with "love thy neighbor."

  10. To be a leader is not to say they are a good teacher...the same with nobility, we are all conquers, and illusionist, but to teach takes a special gift and a lot of patience.

  11. Great teachers inspire critical thinkers who continually seek knowledge and share the information to inspire others.

    Dr. John Hope Franklin

    Albert Einstein

    Thomas A. Edison

    Dr. George Washington Carver

    Justice Louis D. Brandeis

These notable people only conquer ignorance to facilitate the best interests of the general public.

  12. I agree with ya.crazy. What teacher's of the world? Teachers in general? Conquered the world? no. I think teachers conquer one student at a time and enlighten those children or students that are willing to listen, to do new things so they can gain new knowledge.

  13. Everyone is a noble leader in this world...

Most of us just don't have the means to follow them as much as we do others.

They sure do speak the truth of THEIR minds though...

It could as well be the real truth. :)
