  1. I think the Media are mostly pushing on the controversial because it sells more and lets be real that is what American viewers want to see. Blood, fights, animated debates. Why? why can't we be civilized and have a decent and productive debate and the same from the Media?

Also i think the media SHOULD stick to the facts and report them as they are. I cannot stand all these so called journalists that call themselves experts or worse that play sherlock holmes and investigators.

They should stick to the script ... no one cares about their personal opinions. If the want to do so they can get their own personal shows and express themselves.

  2. I would love them to report just the facts. But, facts don't sell air time, so they have to put their opinionated commentary in. Just once, I would like to hear them mention Obama without saying "black". We know he is, we're not blind, who cares? Same with McCain, can we hear his name without hearing about the "woman" that he picked as a running mate. Again, we can see that for ourselves. I'm tired of the way they talk to the American Public like we're idiots and can't make a decision on our own without them telling us how to think. However, if they just stuck to the facts, then we would all come to realize there isn't a whole lot of facts being told by either side, there would be too much dead air. Quite honestly, watching two newscasters debate the topics is a real turn off. If I wanted a debate on the issues, I would rather hear them from the actual candidates.

  3. Opinions.  Some networks are straight forward about that.  Others disguise it as hard news by using talking heads.

  4. i think it SHOULD be facts.. but it isnt always! thats why we must NOT believe everything we hear and only half of what we see...
