Do you think the movie "Pulp Fiction" is one of the best movies ever?

I think so. I like the different things that happen in the movie and the different characters and the way he skips backwards and forwards in time.

Its all about the context of time it came out... it broke barriers and opened doors for movies that came after... its a classic for sure... I think only Scarface compares for something before Pulp F.

I think PF is one of the best film's of the 90's and maybe in my top 25.

One thing about PF is that I can watch it over and over again and never get sick of it

When it was released, Pulp Fiction was hailed an instant classic which warrants its now cult following.  It inspired numerous films to have their characters act, speak and interact the way Tarantino's did, and as such some people may look back having already seen similar films.  What they fail to recognize is how original and absolutely exhilarating Pulp Fiction was to watch way back in 1994.  There was absolutely nothing like that film before it was released, but many impostors since.

Make no mistake, it turned the genre on its head and set a precendence that has yet to be matched.

Pulp Fiction is a classic, and if it didn't make someone's personal Top 25 list, I suggest they re-assess exactly why they watch cinema.

i don't think it's the best movie ever.  I preferred a number of movies over pulp fiction like:

Donnie Darko

Fight Club

Batman Begins

Signs

American Psycho

but Pulp fiction isn't even in my top 50...it's all about taste/preference

I do indeed.  Even if you take away the plot, the coolness of the characters, and all the mayhem, all you have left is a story that is essentially told in reverse... and that, ladies and gentlemen, is unique and awesome.

it's definitely one of my favorites. i love the way he starts at the end. i had to watch it twice before i figured most of the plot line out. haha

It didn't make my top 100 list. It seems to have attracted a cult following over the years - a good thing.
