I like the name Evangeline, I think it would be appropriate in any area, and if it weren't it would their loss, not yours.Either Faith,or Grace would be a pretty middle name also.

My best friend is called Evangeline and I love that name! Her name is Evangeline Rebecca. And...yes... i think it would fly in a conservative area.

sure, it's lovely and not extreme.  And is it likely that you and your children will always live in the same place for your entire lives?  So what "your area" will tolerate should not be an issue.

I think it's a beautiful name! I think it's perfectly fine to use! Makes me think of Evageline Lily from The tv show Lost.
