Do you think the overall medal count should be....?

Question

.....counted depending on how many GOLD medals or how many MEDALS all in all?

China would win if they were counting gold medals.

USA would win if they were counting all medals.

What do you think?

Please stop asking this.  Go look at the responses to the last time someone asked this, which was probably about a half hour ago.

ALL medals.  The silver and bronze medalists worked hard for their award and should be included also.

Winning any medal is still considered a win. So, I guess it doesn't matter how many gold one country gets. I guess getting more gold and medals is better though. :]

We can't say China will get more gold than USA, for now, because USA still has the chance to win gold in basketball, volleyball, and football (soccer). But it is more likely that China will have more golds, and USA will have more medals. But that can change.

This question or variations on it have been asked and answered (literally) over 330 times already.

Even the people who care don't care any more.
