Do you think the photo of the Spanish basketball team went too far with this photo?

As a Native American and one who was around when every Atlanta Brave fan was doing the 'tomahawk chop' I can opine that the photo is in poor taste but I think the whole thing should have been addressed and then put aside for more important news stories like bad fashion sense from celebrities.

What's your opinion?

yes, it was very stupid of the players and the coach and the cameraman for letting it happen. why the h**l would you insult the chinese when the olympics are being held in their country? i dont understand how these players dont realize that this was offensive, it is such common sense.

I have read several articles from the games, this was one of them. It struck me as "Bad Taste" but I honestly believe those involved did not totally understand the amount of backlash it might Garner. I do Wish the media would concentrate on the sport totally until after the games, but I know that's not going to happen. Cheers

I think the original photo idea was really bad judgement. But the fact that they are defending it instead of just plain apologizing is ridiculous and goes too far. They should say "we're sorry" and then shut up.

Bad taste for the news to post it.

Acceptable activity for the little boys that they are acting like.

They should grow up and act like the men that their bodies appear to have grown into.

They shouldn't have taken the pic. If they wore Chinese native clothing, that would've been fine, but the slanting of their eyes is definitely not in good taste.

I personally dislike any disrespect of any group and this is in extremely poor taste esp given the fact it involves the Olympics which is supposedly sacrosanct from this sort of crude humor.
