  1. Absolutely. At such a moment, I am thoroughly aware of what is around me and confident of my abilities to navigate whatever life throws at me. Often my complete trust shows me that I am in a dangerous situation. No biggie. I trust that I can handle it and can even offer prayers for the healing of the soul so damaged that they need to project the danger which is threatening. Sometimes I am even offered the privileged of being the healing agent.

  2. I don't think "complete trust" is something that is established or controlled by what we may think and or feel, with the outcome being "harmony".

For me "complete trust" is usually a temporary state of obliviion that is like falling in love for the first time....(over and over again) .......

I usually end up with the presence of "complete lack of trust"  before all is said and done.

Complete trust is something that is established over a great period of time and must be earned.

  3. I try not to think that far.  If I trust, it is instinctive.

  4. no

  5. I try, it is part of my practice, but I have been disappointed many times, but I accept, because that is the part of life dealing with the human element.

the Ven. Namgyal Rinpoche, one of the first Westerners to be recognized by the Dalai Lama and other Buddhist leaders, was once asked “What is the relationship between trust and enlightenment?” Rinpoche answered, “Complete trust is complete enlightenment.” The Pali word for trust is saddha, often inaccurately translated as faith. Saddhana is a Sanskrit term related to saddha that means method of attainment. This trust, in the Buddhist view, is not a passive state, but an active, confident, and creative engagement with method. And in Buddhism we have lots of methods. We say pick one, and get started

  6. It is just a mirage to tell you the truth.  When I feel like my life is balanced and all is well, I fall back into a black hole.  It is just a cycle that repeats itself.

  7. Perhaps, but be warned that complete trust should always come with a life jacket.
