are taking over from the rangers celtic ones for sheer rivalry..or do we just like giving them both a good beating...unless they have a dodgy linesman of course...:-)

Aberdeen are under-achieving relegation fodder, who's only period of success worth talking about came through Sir Alex, an ex-Rangers man, ironic ?

I said earlier, they are only good for gifting Celtic 12 points a season, but imagine if them or any other team did likewise for Rangers ?  Would their entire team be hounded by private investigators ?  the paranoia would be unBEARable.  Never mind, we will hear it soon enough, hopefully starting next week when we put that pile of tripe to the sword.

im not sure about taking over the rivalry, but they are better to watch.

Aberdeen consist mainly of Scottish players, and many of them have been at the Dons for ages. They know what it means to beat the Old Firm, its just that they have taken a real dislike to Rangers, much like the rest of Scottish Football. Aberdeen & Rangers games now have the meaty tackles, flaring tempers and unsportsmanship that the Old Firm ties were famous for but have lost due to the massive influx of c**p foriegners

I predicted that Rangers would trounce the dons yesterday, but again they played out their skin against you. Why don't they play like that against the rest.? 6 soft free kicks and many not given for similar thing for Aberdeen around the rangers box. And how about Mackie being called back when Lee Miller was the one offside, those linesmen really are terrible. Rangers only chance was from the soft free kick which they scored, but no doubt players like Miller, Seve and Mulgrew won't be given a chance with Scotland because the don't play for either of the old firm. And if kenny miller is good enough for Scotland so is Darren Mackie.
