yes you can even go on goole and find it i just seen it on aol news scientist have made a Collider that can make some bizarre discoveries such as invisible matter or extra dimensions in space after it is switched on in August pepole are fearing it could doom the earth but what i think is maybe the mist can happen because rember what the sicentist did they opend a portal to another dimenshion and then the aliens came what if this turns on and opens a dimenshion idk its really weird whats your opinion

It is very unlikely anything like that will occur with the CERN LHC being turned on. There are events in nature that happen with similar energies that have not done anything, for example in cosmic rays that hit earth's atmosphere every day.

Any weird particles formed would be so short lived that they would have no impact on everyday life. There are hundreds of high energy events that produce weird particles that decay very quickly ( in nano seconds)

We've had supercolliders for years.  There's one less than an hour from NYC.  This is just another one, a bit bigger than the others, but no more dangerous.  And I bet you've never heard of any of the others.

When scientists talk about other dimensions, they aren't talking about them in the way that King does or like they do on Buffy.  The other dimensions are curled up inside our own - you're already in them.  It's not someplace you can go.
