  1. they must be liberal.....  Hannity and Limbaugh said so........

  2. I think the print media is probably a bit more biased - especially large market newspapers. I think network and cable television are more interested in keeping things "competitive"  - they'll help out one side or the other to keep it "close". Conflict wins viewers, not landslides.

  3. Recently?

For months, the CW network has been pushing its reworking of the old teen soap "Beverly Hills 90210." When it finally debuted, Entertainment Weekly magazine joked: "‘90210' is the Sarah Palin of TV shows – it's new, it's pretty, few people have seen it in advance...and its main purpose is to remind you of a trusty old product while adding some new vigor and soap opera to the cultural discourse."

Oprah Refuses To Interview Sarah Palin (she may not be trusted media, but media nonetheless)

MSNBC's Chris Matthews has criticized Palin and McCain during the RNC about their attacks on Obama, but supported every speech during, before, and after the DNC where Biden and/or Obama attacked McCain and policies.

"A new study by the Media Research Center documents how at every step of his national political career, network reporters showered the Illinois Senator with glowing media coverage, building him up as a political celebrity and exhibiting little interest in investigating his past associations or exploring the controversies that could have threatened his campaign."

ABC, CBS, and NBC's coverage protected the candidate by showing little of Wright's radical rhetoric and allowng liberal guests to dominate the discussion.

Avoid Naming Party of Democrats in Scandals, But Identify Republicans Media Double Standard (ask away)

I can't find a picture of it right now, but MSNBC's News Flash when Palin was named as McCain's running mate was something to the effect of "How many houses will Palin ad to the campaign?"

(Don't worry, I have more coming)

  4. Most are and a simple reading of some major newspapers and watching commentary on national news will show who they are voting for and what opinions are held.  Stand in line at the grocery store and read the liberal rags!

  5. No.  Bias lies in the eyes of the beholder.

To Republicans, "bias" only rears it's ugly head when the Dems expose their lies.

  6. yes some and some have a conservative agenda

  7. If you think this through logically, you'll find an answer. The right claims a "liberal bias" whenever the truth is simply stated.

But most news organizations are owned and run by -- hey! rich white guys. A few are liberal. Some are rabidly conservative (Can we all say Sinclair, boys and girls?) Most are really middle of the road. If you watch, they tend to be easier on conservatives because of those "liberal accusations. Moreover, they do things that cater to the right. The Republicans are noted for attack ads, which then air in the media -- for free-- over and over -- and over -- often with little disclaimer.

So -- overall liberal bias? No-- and more conservative bias than Republican swant to admit.

  8. hmmm ?????

  9. HELLO!!!!

  10. Yeah sure...

Because we all know that those Billions of advertising dollars from Health Insurance, Oil Companies, Pharmaceutical Companies and WalMart must be part of a "liberal" agenda...

    Get real.
