  1. Probably not because he wasn't the greatest catcher in MLB History. Johnny Bench was a better catcher (just saying).

  9. No way.  Besides #7 was Tom Veryzer's number.   If I close my eyes I can still hear Ernie Harwell say "Its hard grounder to short and it's off the glove of Veryzer and on into center field".  They can't dis Tom V. like that.

  12. I highly doubt it. His play there was far from stellar, and there are so many other Tiger greats in thier long history, he just doesn't rate that high in his time there.
