This is probably the biggest series in the NL this season, especially with how close the race is in this division. Do you think the team that wins this series wins the division? Who do you think wins this series?

These are the pitching matchups for the series.

Game 1 - Lilly vs. Sabathia

Game 2 - Zambrano vs. Sheets

Game 3 - Dempster vs. Parra

Game 4 - Harden vs. Bush

  1. no we still have about 2 full months to go

still alot of baseball to be played

and still trades to be done

    other surprises?

    more players like samarjia(spelled wrong)

  2. I don't think the winner of the series will dictate the winner of the division, it really depends how the season plays out.  Sabathia has been absolutely dominate in his starts, but whoever is hotter in September will probably win it.

  3. Good question:

I don't think so. They have 6 games still against each other, all of which are in September. It will be close by them, so those games will decide it....

  4. All I know is, I am from Cleveland Ohio, and was really sad to see CC go....

And, yes, it most definatly could determine a lot... Especially if one team gets swept, or just plays poorly... It could set the tone for the rest of the season.

    GO BREWERS!  GO CC!!!!!

  5. I don't think so i think its going to be the last 3 games against the cubs which will determine the winner

  6. how could it there are still 50 pluss games left.

  7. Probably not. Unless a team lost by one game, and it was because a game they lost then yes. But I believe every game is important, so even if it doesn't affect it, they should give it their all EVERY game! To get them more motivated, they should pretend the game will determine the division or it's their last game or WS game. I know for me, that always helps for my basketball games! =]

  8. no, its still july

  9. there's a lot of baseball to be played still. anything can happen.
