  1. You maybe correct but clearly not entirely. Many of mans works are based on necessity as well as finding creative solutions to problems. Like when a doctor thinks up a creative way to do a heart trans plant. It may be very a creative idea but without a patients ailing heath or bad heart why would the doctor even consider such a thing.

However, a video game, per say, is not really a necessity, but definitely an exercise in creativity and that games designers probably don't feel a moral sense of duty to create a life saving video game. But they do it anyway.

Its almost as we create things just for the sake of creating - something, anything.

Furthermore, an Egyptian slave who congers up a better way to lay the extremely heavy bricks he works with everyday, probably wasn't dwelling on some brick laying fantasy in order to have less hard labor.

But his thoughts would definitely be on the necessity of making his day easier.

I probably comes down to that old quote " I think, therefore, I am"

  2. Works with just sweat and strength, no.

    Works with the heart, yes.

  3. first dream, then make a plan and execute the plan to fullfill the dream, just as engineers do

  4. The works of man have their origin in the image and likeness of God (the Creator).

  5. Some

For every Wordsworth there is a Coleridge, a voice to make the extraordinary seem ordinary, while others seek to make the ordinary seem extraordinary. A simple change in rhyme and meter and you can create a Raven or a Tell Tale Heart. I few extra muscles and you can create a Sistine Chapel. The eye of man can augment reality to create beauty and in doings augment beauty to create a new reality. If you read Orwell's 1984 and compare it to the technology of today you see that much of what was once science fantasy is now science fact. Our fantasies form the current that runs the flow of the stream of our thoughts and wets our imagination to form our wisdom in time.
