  3. no

  4. No the majority of the world hates us

  5. umm in a way yes but in a way no

im canadian, and i love america. i visit the states all the time. im from toronto and i go to buffalo and nyc alot.

but sometimes american's could be a little full of themselves and arrogant. im sure not everyone is like that but thats what most americans portray themselves as being. and for being afraid, i dont have anything to be afraid of since canada and america are like bff's. but as for being afraid, somuch of your countries money goes into weapons.

lets just put it this way, i wouldnt wanna be on u.s.a.'s bad side. but i dont think war is the answer for all the problems going on in the world right now.

  6. \They should.  We have nuclear weapons and we've already proven we're not afraid to use them.

  7. No. They envy us because of our abundance of natural resources and our inventiveness. They respect us for being the one power which steps up first with assistance after some natural disaster befalls others. They recognize the fact that we, among all of the major powers, are the only one who gave back the territories we occupied in previous wars.  Millions believe they can make a better life for their children if only they could gain entry into our nation and achieve (at least) resident alien status.

I have been a steady listener to English language short wave stations since 1949. With the exception of Cuba and North Korea, the rest of those stations have at least one story at the top of their news block which is datelined "Washington, D.C." I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of days when that hasn't happened in the nearly 60 past years.

Those who are frightened about the U.S. are the academics and "think tankers" whose own theories about economic and political freedoms have come crashing down about them in the wake of the American Experience. After JFK was murdered, all of the nations in Asia passed laws of succession because they were in awe at the transfer of power which happened without troops pouring out of barracks and government buildings being seized. Even the nations on the other side of the Atlantic recognize one great reality they must deal with: America is the home of Silicon Valley. Europe is the home of state-subsidized coal mines!

  8. We are the Bully.

We are nosey, pushy and arrogent,

We are just the a*****e tall kid on the playground

  9. they should be, but they're not

  10. No. America is the leader of the free world. Anyone with sense knows that it is better that America leads the world rather than any other country,

  11. No...unless one has oil

  12. Why? America's just a country. Nothing more, nothing less.

  13. Yes. The world thinks we have a lot of muscle, a lot of money,  a lot of emotion, and very little brains.

  14. I think the world is beginning to fear China more than America. Right now America looks like an aged starlet who's considering turning tricks to get a gig. I'm hopeful she resists that urge and is able to restore some kind of dignity.

If I had to be afraid of someone, I'd prefer it be America.

  15. no the world isnt scared of america there scared of america going to war which isnt good for the rest of the world...many americans think the world fears them but america is less respected for the country it is now than it was years ago...rite now id fear korea and kind of china being commys and all that

  16. no do you thing america fears the world?

  17. no most countries are jealous of the standard of living that we are accustomed to.

  18. sure, after all, America has a large arsenal of nuclear weapons of mass destruction, and very high-tech equipment too, plus influence and attitude too

  19. In the public eye, the media has always made America seem the superpower, when infact America is clearly controlled from London.

  20. no i think they just think were retarted cuz they judge us by our president

  21. no they laugh at america

  22. I would say the uninformed could feel fear of the unknown. Much has been made of that, but most of if totally wrong.
