  1. no only the god almighty who i love deeply and wish to go to heaven with knows no one but him will ever know.

  2. Well, according to what I believe in no one knows. Only God does. Maybe it can end there but maybe it can end tomorrow. It is impossible to know. But I think it's not ending there. I think we still have lots of time left.

  3. Of course!  That's just proven hypothetical fact!

Humanity may not die out, but the world will never be the same!

  4. If I could only be so lucky.

  5. No, the world will not end.

  6. No.  No one knows when the end will come.

  7. Well, it's better than MY calendar. My calendar stops Dec 31, 2008...

    No, it's just a calendar.

  8. No.

The Mayans are dead. Their calender was about 400 years off.

  9. Well Notradamus (Spelling?) who predicted these things amongst many others that came true, got a few things wrong. Things are set in stone, they were supposed to be guide lines of things that COULD happen but things change because we choose to change them.

I would consider it a type of "Warning"

  10. Even sooner if Obama gets elected!

  11. I hope it won't.

Or that the Messiah would come.

  12. No I do not think the world will physically end as we know it.  I do believe that it is a beginning and an end to many things on Earth. I believe that certain things will come to light about people on a personal level as well as a national and even global levels.

  13. no only God knows when the world will end

  14. No.

Just recently I stumbled accross a website where NASA, and a few other reputable organizations, subtracts 5 years from the known 1 BC due to the almost indisputable fact that 5 BC is actually 1 BC.

If this is a "Fact", it means that 2012 minus 5 years is 2007. So Dec. 21, 2007 was the end of the Mayan calendar.

Also the Mayans also believed that after Dec. 21, 2012 we would simply start a new era.

Finally, the Bible also says after the Apocalypse there will be Human life for many years to come.

  15. Absolutely not! Their calendar stops and thats it. Besides, if they were really as smart as some are giving them credit for, why would they be the expired? It just won't happen. I think it will be like the year 2000. We all got freaked out for something to happen and it was just another year- no big deal. And that Nostradamus guy is nuts! He didn't specifically predict anything, he was very general and for a good reason- he's out of his mind!!

  16. No, the Mayan calendar is based on era's.  2012 is not when the Mayan calendar ends, but when an era that has been going since before the Gregorian calendar began.  In 2012, a new era will begin.

It is a misunderstood interpretation that the media and paranoid people have spun off into another Y2K type scare.

    Quick, stock up on Spam!!!

  17. no one knows that answer, just speculations

  18. I think it's bu-bu-bu-bu-bullshit.

  19. I can't say no or yes, but I'm a Christian so I believe what the bible says, and that is that no person will know when the world will end. Only God knows. That's just what I believe though and you are entitled to your own opinions. Hope this helps. ;-)

  20. No...but evidently the Mayans did ;-) if they stopped at that year.  I guess we will just have to wait and see.  Meanwhile, let's make the most of every day!

  21. The only way I can imagine it means anything significant is that the Mayans, being astute observers of the heavens, know about a comet or something that comes around every so often that should hit our planet.  Or maybe they just figured... why work on stuff that far out... its hundreds of years away...

  22. hmm... that's a scary thought. it might though! with all the strange weather and natural disasters that are occuring!

  23. hahaha here we go again! NO!! not new years 1999 or 01/01/2000 and not 2012! Geez

  24. I have been undecided about this question for a long time. I've watched and read many things about it. I think it's possible, from what I've gathered, the mayan calander was pretty correct at pin-pointing pretty major events in our time, so why not the end? And I hear all these people talking about the beginning of a new era, I've heard nothing about that really, I think people are coming up with that to make themselves feel better. Everything I've ever seen on it was that nature will attack us, storms, volcanos, tsunamis, everything at once. So I don't know, All I know is I'm not looking forward to the year 2012.

  25. Speaking as an archaeologist who has studied this in school as well as on my own time, it's highly unlikely. The only reason many groups give any creedence to this thought is because of supposedly accurate predictions made by the mayans about their first contact with the europeans. Of course our information about this "premonition/prediction" come to us from a third party, not from any acctual first hand evidence. As for what the end of the caladar really means, it's just the end of an age not of life as we know it or anything. Also there are only one or two mayan calandars that actually end on that date, there are many others out there that go farther into the future and still many more that end well before that date and so far we haven't seen the end so it's unlikely that this one is any more true.

  26. nope... they just got tired of finishing the calendar LOL the world will end when god feels like making it end ...

  27. I don't think that it will because in the bible it talks about how no one will expect the end of the world. Only God knows.

  28. No... That's one of the strangest ideas I have ever heard of. There is no possible way that just because one calendar stopped on one specific day, this means that the world will end up on it :)

You better stop bothering your head with it and do something relaxing

  29. Nope.

  30. i posted the same question.

well...no one knows if the world will end or not...

...we'll just have to wait and see what happens!

all i no is..that if the world ends, ill just die after my birthday !! hehe

  31. I hope not, for my mom's sake.  That's one day before she's eligible to retire!
