  1. No.  It's a bunch of rubbish.  Just because the Mayans didn't continue their calender after that year, doesn't mean time will stop or the world will have horrendous fits of earthquakes and tsunamis and whatnot.  If that were the case, wouldn't there be a message or something along with the fact the calender stopped?

Unless you're talking about what all the Mormons are talking about.  How disease and stuff will travel and kill tons of people, bla bla bla, the Earth will rid itself of "evil"...

no.  I don't believe any of it.

  2. in 2012 .. No.

The only time the world WILL end for sure is around 5.5 million years later. The sun is 'burning' or providing us with heat because of the fusion reactions takin place in it. Hydrogen is being converted into helium. When all of the hydrogen will be used up,and our beloved sun turns into a white dwarf star, then I can say for sure the world will end.

  3. I don't know what to think about it! I hear so many thing about that weird day(december 21 2012).Whatever will happen,I'm really,really....really curios what will happen...

and watch this video please! its about the year 2012: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-3RLx_4Y...

  4. no

The Big 2012 Hoax Off really took off when some charlatans, who had predicted the end of the world for 2003 and had published a book on how to survive then,  decided to revise their book (apparently, the world failed to end in 2003... go figure), so that they now must sell more copies to cover their costs.

Prior to that, the 2012 Winter Solstice date was simply known as a passage to a New Age (some astrological mumble-jumble).  The date came from the fact the Winter Solstice's apparent position crosses the thickest part of the Milky Way.

This gradual and constant movement of the Solstice position is caused by the precession of the Earth's axis.  The movement was known to most ancient civilizations (Mayans, Greeks, Babylonians, Chinese...) as far back as 3,000 years ago.

The Mayan astronomers used a day-count calendar (we do the same, ours is called the Julian day calendar).  In such a calendar, the time interval between events is found by simply subtracting one date from the other.  No need to worry about leap years or anything like that.

The Mayan day-count calendar was set up so that a major round figure would match the date when the Winter Solstice position would be in the thickest portion of the Milky Way.  For the Mayans, the Winter Solstice was an important point: when the Sun got there, it was the start of a New Year in their common calendar.

The Mayans used a numbering system that is not the same as ours.  We use base-10 numbers, they use a mix of base-18 and base-20 (Babylonians used a base-60, from where we got our 60 minutes and 60 seconds).

When the Mayan count is "full", they do the same as ours: reset all the numbers to 0, add one in front and start a new count.

Because their number scheme is different than ours, lots of people are under the impression that their day-count calendar ends.  It does not.

It is like when our calendar "ran out of numbers" on Dec. 31, 1999.

We reset everything to "zero" and changed the 1 to a 2:  Jan. 1, 2000.

    Another end-of-the-world was avoided!

  5. There's always the chance that fossil fuel depletion will trigger some sort of tilt event, such as the closure of businesses that provide transport of consumer goods to the malls and stores for sale. Then the shelves will quickly be bare, people will panic and riot, and the zombie slaughter will begin.

  6. nope!!

    not yet...

    :)

  7. Take heed for 2012 is just the revealing of the 'antichrist' or the 'man of lawlessness' at the middle of what Jews and Christians call the 7 year Tribulation. Many pagan cultures from every corner of the world (Sumerians, Babylonians, Cherokee, Hopi, Chinese I-Ching {confirmed by T.McKenna}, Mayans{Pacal Votan}, Egyptians, Celts, Satanists, etc...) celebrate this evil event called "the abomination that causes desolation". When will Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus) come? Only God Himself knows, but soon. If you believe or not, that is up to you. Either way it still comes.

Things to look for to PROVE it to yourself soon:

    >Crash of American banks and its financial underpinning: Operation Sitting Duck

    >Fall of America as an economic power and other ways.

    >The Big One: Revelation 18. America goes down on the list of fabled societies nobody believes in any more like Atlantis, Mu, Lemuria, Hyperborea, etc..

    >Martial law. (Google some of Bush's executive orders concerning it- Nightmarish!)

    >Implementation of Project Bluebeam (be ready to hear more and more 'alien talk'... watch your local skies for the show!) Google and youtube it. Aliens... aliens... aliens...

    >Trying to make people first accept the REAL ID card (to get you in the system) and then right after forcibly implanting people with these RFID microchips:

    >The start of the North American Union.

    >Push to attack Iran which will start WW3-the atomic war to end all wars. (If you think China, Russia, and the Muslim world would just sit back, you are a mistaken fool!)

    >Final push to one world government: The New World Order- The 4th Reich!

(The brutal final empire foreseen by Daniel and John)

    >Rise of a miraculous and awe mesmerizing world leader later to turn world dictator.

    >Push to one world religion where there are "manys ways to God".

    >Toleration of everything but Jews and Christians.

    >Temporary and unheard of "peace in the middle east".

    >Revelation13:10  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P-hvPJPT...

    >More world wide food shortages and famines.

    >More earth quakes. More fires. Strange and severe weather.

    >Major spiritual awakenings.

    >Rise of Islamic fanaticism.

    >Rise in wickedness and corruption.

Christians and Messianic Jews look forward to this as it means they will soon join their Messianic Saviour in the Millennial Kingdom of the next Age and their Heavenly Father later as "Children of Light". If you try to equate 2012 with Y2K or some other date that cried wolf, then you will be making the worst mistake in your life. Research all these things FOR YOURSELF!

  8. Haven't we answered this question a billion times already this week?  Try doing some research before you ask questions.

The answer is no.  Nothing will happen in 2012 that hasn't happened in the previous 5 billion years this planet has been in existence.

  9. not with death, we will probably learn something important as a race.

  10. No I do not. The world will end when the sun dies. It could happen before that b/c of global warming.... but even then, we'll probably have another ice age, epidemic, or world war that will change the world we live in so dramatically that we'll be dead before we see the end of earth.

  11. the 2012 prediction is a misunderstanding of an ancient culture. the year 2012 is when the mayan calendar resets. the earth will end when the sun reaches the end of it's cycle in several billion years. this process will not expediated by global warming.

  12. there was a maya calender which stated the major earthquakes and the tsunami on dates which came true so i think the world will end

but now scientists are saying that only a new cycle will start and the world wont end

  13. no

  14. yes, because garbage fill the earth
