  1. no

  2. Hello:

Anything is possible Don, however every generation before ours was sure on one level or another that they would be the last one...its kind of a human nature thing...the world couldn't POSSIBLY! go on with out us...

So no...I am pretty sure that the world will be ok for at least another 150 years.  Maybe some changes, but I think humans could adapt.  If not that would really be something wouldn't it?  I'd almost like to see it as long as I wasn't living through it.  Seriously though, no.

    I hope this helps

    Rev Phil

  3. i'm not worried.

  4. No, not at all. Whether we will survive or not, I don't know, but the world will be fine.

  5. No. Not in my lifetime.

  6. yes i don't know when

  7. Depends on what you mean by "the world." The planet will still be here even if mankind makes it unfit for human habitation.  As for the biblical sense, the world ends for each of us at our appointed time, while life goes on for those left behind.

  8. If you're talking about the LHC startup September 10, then I'd say "No".  I am certainly no physicist, but, from what I've read so far, it seems that any "strange" effects would be short-lived and extremely small.

Noneless, I am going to hide under my desk just in case 8-)

  9. Probably in 100 years or so.

  10. Yes and no.  For some individuals it will end today, but for most it will not end for as long as 120 years from now.  As far as the Earth is concerned, I'm more of a realist.  Even in the worst case scenario, like a super volcanic erruption, the Earth will still exist and the human population would find a way to continue to exist too.  Humans have the benefit of higher thought, thus enabling us to be more adaptive to changes on Earth.

As far as galactically speaking, eventually our planet will be engulfed by our sun.  Astrologically, it isn't that far off.  Of course this is 100's of thousands of years.

  11. Our world will not end any time soon. Earth will be here for a very very long time.

But will humanity be here? Now that is a question...

    Probably not!

  12. I don't think so. But I don't think anyone knows for sure. The best thing to do is not even worry about it! It's too stressful and there is not much you can do about it anyways.

  13. Hmm.  What do I really think?  I think I will live to see the suffering of the final years and that my children will live throughout that suffering.  I think it will end during either my children's or my grandchildren's lifetime.  I don't believe it will go any further than that.  I'm giving my children every ounce of love and guidance I can to prepare them for what's ahead.  I am NOT giving my children a gloomy view though.  I do not tell them what I've just told you.

  14. yes.
