the ‘n’ word to women?

I feel that way.I think it’s disgusting to call a woman that.I don’t think a woman or a man should call anyone that any man or woman that. I see people use it all the time, and it’s horrible. I hear people calling female political figures the ‘c’ word on here and other places all the time. For example,I see people call Hillary Clinton,Nancy Pelosi, and Condoleeza Rice the c word all the time. Just because people disagree with these women or hate them doesn’t give them justification in calling them that horrible word. Do you agree?

  1. It's a bad thing to  say but not the same as the N word....

  2. A good comparison, if you keep it to Americans.

In the US, it is just about the foulest thing you can call a woman.

However, in the UK (while it is offensive) it is no more so than "bit*h"

or "a$$hole". Which are certainly bad, but not on par with "the c word".

And while some might observe that it once was in common usage, that does not diminish its impact today.

It wasn't very long ago when "d**k" was just short for "richard".

Just because something has a historical usage does not make it any less offensive now.

  3. Of course it's a terrible thing to say, but the way I see it, words are just words, and even if you could stop people from saying that they'd pick another word and give it a different meaning.

  4. its just like any other word to me...no more offending than the next.

  5. It's just a word.  Personally, I find it much less offensive than a racial term.  Either way, you are giving people too much power over you if a simple, one-syllable word can cause that kind of emotional response.

  6. 100% with you in this one.

the fact that people call others demeaning names show not only how closed minded they are, but their lack of  a vast vocabulary.

  7. I hate that word!!  It is so vulgar. It makes you seem so trashy when you say it. yuck!

  8. yes, but I guess to get equality you go through.  more power to ya.

  9. Not really, i feel it is the same as calling a guy a d**k.  I find calling a person a b**ch to be more degrading to women than the "c" word.  Racial slurs are by far worse than that word, but it really depends on the person and their opinions.

  10. i hate these nasty words... it kinda makes me sick that people stoop that low.

and i agree that the c word is the n word to women

  11. Except when my husband or I uses it in certain moments, yes.

It REALLY bothers me when YA allows the word to be used on here.

  12. meh....

it was a normal term back in the day from old Germanic and even Egyptian hyrogliphics for v***a and v****a

it hasnt always had the slang appeal it has now....

  13. what is the "c" word again?
