All Human came from Earth, right? do you think that there are living things, (for an example: Aliens) lives from other, planet, solar system, galaxy or even other universe, if its two or more.

there are nothing in our solar system, how about in a million or billion or even trillions of light years far from our planet, are undiscovered living things?

  1. Of course if we are in this world so there might be any other species also

  2. It would take a very small minded person to believe that we are the only intelligent life in the entire universe

  3. Think of it this way. The Milky Way, which is our galaxy, has an estimated 400 billions stars (such as our Sun) with planets and such around them. That is just in OUR galaxy. There are billions of galaxies that we cannot see. The closest galaxies we can see are 12 billion light years away, we could never see a galaxy that is farther away in light travel time than the universe is old—an estimated 14 billion or so years. Thus, we are surrounded by a "horizon" that we cannot look beyond—a horizon set by the distance that light can travel over the age of the universe. This is very mind boggling no doubt. It is very difficult to understand, but the universe is INFINITE. The human mind is just not capable of comprehending this is my opinion, and the human race will probably be gone before we ever have the technology to find out. So to answer your question, it is IMPOSSIBLE that out of that many planets, there is not at least 1 that has life on it. Just think about it.

  4. Of course!

Arrogance is man's greatest weakness being completely unaware of the fact that we as a species originated from the stars in the first place.

  5. The whole question of life elsewhere comes down to two questions:

    1. How difficult is it for life to come into existence out of non-life.

    2. How unique is the Earth's environment and its environmental history.

The first question addresses whether, given the right environment, would it be likely that life would start up anywhere.  We suspect that the answer to that question is Yes.  The reason is that the more we look, the more precursors to life we find.  The more we look the more we find very early evidence of life on earth. It happened right away.  The question of life elsewhere in our solar system is probably the most important question that all of our space exploration is aimed at answering.

The second question addresses the nurturing of primitive life into complex organisms.  On Earth (our only example) it took 3 billion years to come up with man.  For 2.5 billion of those years life was single celled.  The environment on Earth was very constant over that 3 billion year time span.  Is it likely that such a planet would exist elsewhere in the universe?  The numbers of stars are staggering so it might seem a virtual certainty - but the Earth has developed life and as far as we know Mars and Venus have not.  And they seem like very similar planets.  It is more complicated than just “Earth like planets.”

For instance, our sun, Sol, has over the last 3 billion years increased its output by about 25% due to normal stellar evolution.  That is an enormous change in output and without some compensation factor the Earth would have gone from an ice ball to a barren Venus like planet over that time.  It didn't- but we don't know what the factor or factors were that caused such a constant environment.

  6. In a Universe the size of ours, I would say it is almost certain that other intelligent beings are out there.  Do I think they visit us?  No, again because of the sheer size, and the distances involved.

  7. others are possible but the distance is so great that it is doubtful that we can even communicate with them.

  8. What are the odds that of the billions of planets, only one planet has life? Extremely low. I doubt it's intelligent life, but it's still life, right?

  9. I just think life forms in this planet cant be the only ones in the universe, something else must be out there.
