that is gender neutral in wording with a bias in the favour of women for example, creating shadow laws in many instances ?

wouldn't surprise me, a girl recently told a story here, her boyfriend couldn't get custody despite the fact the ex was using drugs, the judge said that he didn't want to punish the mother.

i have seen it in australia, certain laws seem fair but when you go to court strange unexplainable things happen.

The bias in favor of a woman when it comes to custody, support etc. is cultural. It's not a conspiracy. Ironically that bias actually DEMEANS women because it assumes

1. They're automatically better suited to be parents

2. They're more helpless and therefore need to be taken care of.

There is no secret cabal of judges all conspiring together to favor women and s***w men. It's just the vestiges of gender bias, sexism and gender assumptions that have been present for thousands of years.
