...like...why else would any stay at a cemetery? I'm sure they don't all stay there..because some visit their families at home etc. So what would keep them in a bad place.. like cemeteries..burial grounds..jails...haunted houses etc.? Or could they be blind?

  1. That is a good question deenie.Ususally if they died in there own home they feel like they are still alive and everybody alive is ignoring them. They feel safe in one location. But on the other hand.Haunted houses pulled down and new buildings built on the same location still retains the ghost from the old building. This would then suggest that they maybe trapped in one location as they are between worlds. You may see a ghost but the ghost is not on or level of exsistance. He is in the same place but like a different dimemtion in the same space and time.A dimention between worlds. They can look though and see us.We may be lucky to see them at times. But still seperated by the dimention barrier.A dimention of there own about the size of a house. There could be many spirits trapped in this each samll dimention space or there samll dimentions cross over each other. They can all see each other and us but none of us can commnicate with each other at all because of the dimention barriers.

  2. Of course spirits, if they exist, are blind. They have no eyeballs. No eardrums for that matter. No nose for sense of smell either.

But in the world of mysticism, for any question that begins "Do you think there could be...", the answer is always yes. That's the great thing about mysticism and what draws so many people to it.

  3. Even a blind man can see if he has an OBE.....he is using his spiritual eyes.

I brought home once a grave stone, not realizing it was in the pile of stones, or I picked it up near by the pile. That spirit came to visit me, I believe he was from another dimension higher up. They still know what's going on sensing where their bones lie, and that even their grave stone becomes of personal since it has their name on it.

Perhaps they stay in that one dimension-plane not able to advance higher till they learn what it is they need to learn, and or cleansing to be pure enough to move up higher.

Ghost are spirits that haven't moved on, usually it's part to do with not knowing that they are dead. How can you transcend if you believe you're alive.

Ghost don't visit unless they are died in the same home that they are basically trapped in. Spirits that transcended can visit, whatever plane they are in, they can move to the lower dimensions, and in time the higher dimension.

I do have some spiritual proof on this since my cousin died, his wife when to the grave site to (pray) the rosary, prayer is a tuning in to the spiritual world....and he started speaking to her, and that he mention that our grandmother who died many years ago came down from a higher dimension to visit him as he was on a lower plane.

  4. Could it be possible that cemeteries are associated with ghosts not because of what is seen, but because of what one expects to see?  Same goes for spooky basements, castles or any other place that just seems like it should be haunted (i.e. insane asylums, old prisons).

Could it be possible that a person is far more likely to see something he is expecting to see?  If so, isn't a true believer the most likely person to see something in a place that is "reportedly haunted"?

  5. I don't think that they are blind but I think that is one of the biggest questions I have about ghost/spirits.

  6. Honestly, I think that the idea that ghosts are confined to a location is one of many popular myths about them.

I think that "ghosts" who are confined to particular places are ones we should be looking for natural explanations.

Yes, I suppose its possible for a spirit to prefer a place, much like its possible for a person to prefer a place, however, I do not think there is anything to confine them, anymore than us.

First, its popular to label something as a haunted house or building, or location if any activity has been sensed there. However, if I saw you in a building, would I be accurate to label that building as your residence? What if it was Walmart? No, of course not.

Second, people always look for someone who died on the premises and give the ghost a name, even if there is no evidence to connect the ghost with person who died. Again, this is just playing into the popular myths about spirits.

Third, remember there are no known rules for this kind of stuff. Somepeople say one thing, others say another, and most of what we know is hoaxes and hollywood movies.

Personally I think if you want to understand the paranormal, you have to erase all the popular ideas, and think outside the box.

  7. when you die you become energy it doesn't mean they're blind well first of all it's not scientifically proved it's real only for people who had exp of it or want to believe in something more less depressing what we have in our lives dissatisfaction and yes i think there's probably a force field from my exp of astral you hear see not with your eyes ears but with your mind and you can not go spy on people there's some kind of barrier that's impossible to cross hope i gave an insight of ny exp take care Deennie

  8. Deenie;

First off: I want to say thank you for connecting with me, after the last question I answered. I've been away from answering questions for a while; and I think something lead me to your question.

Secondly: I want to assure you I'm not here to give you what I call "fluff" answers. As I said before, I believe there is a big misconception with the idea of Paranormal. The main reason this type of thing doesn't seem normal is simply because most people are not aware. Once a person raises their awareness then what was once considered "paranormal" or "supernatural" will be thought of as just as normal as anything else.

I also believe to seperate Religion from this type of thing, leads us away from a practical structure. I know you think religion is about man made rules, but I've come to understand religion as something that is supposed to give us structure, a backbone. This backbone allows us to move and bend (spirituality) as we create new experiences, learn and grow. And we begin to be able to discern those beliefs that come from fear, vrs. love, reasoning, and intelligence.

And I'm answering from a very honest and sincere place within myself, based on my years of study and my own personal experiences. Though while you may not pick my answers for best answer, I would hope you'd take away some spark of truth, some bit of useful wisdom that will help make a positive contribution to your life.

    That being said...

For the most part: once a Soul has departed the body it normally stays long enough to console those it left behind; then it goes on to the Other Side (Souls don't stay at cemetaries with decaying bodies, which makes it silly to think we actually go and visit our loved ones at grave yards, when they are always around us) where the Soul goes through an orientation process (you're brought back to full memory of who you are) where it reviews the life it just lived; and it decides if it needs to come back and do anything over or continue its journey in another way. Also the Soul reunites with other loved ones--from any number of lives it has lived-- like your grandpa, uncle, aunt, or maybe a mother or the dog you grew up with who are already on the Other Side. Mind you, this process has gone on for many, many lifetimes as you've incarnated and re-incarnated, infinitely. Not that you have to, but the Soul chooses to come back to keep experiencing different things in order to evolve itself, in order to evolve God.

Many times Souls experience especially traumatic lives, so much so that it creates strong emotions such as anger or guilt or fear, that the Soul has a difficult time letting go of. Even after death. Those feelings, those strong emotions often do act as a force field that "traps" the Soul to a particular place, time, experience which haunts them. Then there are other Souls who "exit" their lives so fast, that they don't know they are "dead". That they are outside of the physical. And there are many more reasons why Souls choose to stay "bound" to this reality or even close to it. We have labeled these types as "ghosts" or "earthbounds".

Interestingly enough, one of the difinitions of the word "haunt" is: To come to the mind of continually; obsess. So I think if we are to understand it maturely, the only thing that is really haunted are those Souls who can't forgive themselves, who can't love themselves, and ultimately can't remember who they really are.

Often times we find ourselves in a similar situation. We get stuck in the same types of negative patterns: maybe it's a negative relationship, or that same dead end job; maybe it's that addiction we can't seem to get rid of, and it's like we're held by a force field that keeps us stuck in one place. And it is important to forgive others, and forgive yourself. Because the act of forgiveness is actually a releasing yourself from attachment. Easier said than done, right? But it is these resentments, guilts, fears, and anger that will hold us to this existance.

It is important also to be aware of how our thoughts create our reality. And that the process of creation is very different once we are free from the physical plane: when you are free from the limits of time and space, whatever you think will manifest instantly. So whatever a person believes in when they die, they will instantly create. If you lived your life as a Christian who believed in a fiery h**l and damnation, when you exit the body you might actually experience that reality because it is your thoughts manifested.

So again, the "force field" that seems to hold a Soul to one place, really is the power of their own thoughts and beliefs about themselves, about Who They Really Are. It is their choices based on the level of their awareness.

But don't worry... because even thouse "ghosts" who do cling to cemetaries and haunt houses don't stay in that state of being forever. There are Spirit Guides, Souls who travel to "rescue" these lost souls. And Angels also go to the aid of these warry souls and usher them back "Home".

It also reminds us to keep mindful of our own thoughts and feelings because when we make the transition ourselves, we might find ourselves wandering a grave site, or annoying other people by haunting their homes. You'll find yourself yelling, "Hey get out of my home." And they'll say, "It isn't your home anymore, you're dead. Didn't you notice you were moving through the walls? Get a clue and watch a M. Night Shamalan movie, will ya?"

So you muster up some plasmic energy and hurl a toaster at them. The next thing you know, you've got the Discovery Channel at the property with different kinds of detectors, and some psychic lady with red hair and a british accent trying to talk to ya.

And the owner is saying, "Yeah we were just sittin' here, when that toaster jumped off the counter at us." Wouldn't that be a pain?

Anyways... every Soul is a spark of the divine. A part of what we call God. And NO Soul is ever condemned to eternal h**l, or a life of wandering. It is all by their own choosing, their own creation. And until they choose to create something other than that, these Souls will continue to cling to their old lives, their dead bodies like some people cling to old boyfriends or girlfriends.

So I'm going to stop here because I could go on for days. I hope this answers your question and if you need clarification, just ask. Thanks--George.

  9. Well mostly it unfinished business , or sometimes is that they are afraid to go toward there judgement on the otherside so they stay where there soul lies. but some ghost or shadow walkers stay in places where they can pocess your being. and only way they can travel is through a person that is a ghostwalker a medium ect...

  10. *Oh dear*

Did you even read your question before you asked it?

    *Rolls eyes*

  11. They really are lower astral level entities. They pretend to be the person that died. They are often made to stay at a certain location where they can't leave. I think a real ghost of a person would always try to visit their family. Most human spirits only can stay on earth for a maximum of three days.
