I just saw a quote talking about relationships, and it said: "We never really ended, we just fell apart."

Do you think there's a difference between ending and falling apart? Can you explain this? I choose best answer!

  1. I think it means that ending it has some resolution.  Maybe someone cheated & it was just OVER or maybe they both decided to end it & were both ready to move on.

Falling apart I would think is like moving on because you just couldn't deal or couldn't make it work but still wanted to.  Lots of loose threads.

  2. Usually when two people fall apart..., they end. There is a difference that keeps then from being..., after that..., theres nothing to do but end.

  3. Ending is a closure, falling apart is when they like each other but just drift apart and never really "end" the relationship.
