Theres so much disrespect out there at the moment. Its not just young hoons that are rude its everyone! No-one in my city obeys the speed limit and every single moment someone can get in front they do regardless of the speed limit or the conditions. Its just crazy that no-one is content driving, its just so competitive, even when theres no competition!

  1. yaa..i  know  that..people especially  young ones in  the  heat  of  thier  youth  just  drive  carelessly...thats  really  wrong.

Doing  so  not  only  they  risking  themselves  but  other  innocent  people  also..!! I think  1st  of  all  its  every  person's  responsiblity  to  drive  safely  and  govt.  also  should  apply  some  strict  laws  to  take care of accidents  happening  bcoz  of  careless  driving..!!

Good  luck everyone...drive  safely  and  enjoy  the  journey..!!

  2. As long as people have "somewhere to be" and are late and in a hurry, there will always be speeding and reckless driving. Road construction is also a factor, and weather conditions.

Then there are people who are just rude and have no regard for the safety of others. Whatever the case, there will always be something to prevent perfect harmony.

  3. I don't see it happening.  I know where I drive, I have to really be careful, and drive more aggressive than I want.  My odometer stops at 85, but only goes comfortable at 70.  I have a small car, and I am often overlooked by people who only rely on their side mirrors and rear view mirror to change lanes... and often are done without turn signals.  Speed limit signs are a joke.  Cops even ride my tail when I am going over.  Slowing down for construction, that's a joke.  And why do people wait until the last second to merge into a lane they know the one they are in is about to end.

Increasing speed limites to prevent speeders isn't going to help.  They did that, and now they just go even faster, and accidents are worse than ever before.  And then what do you do when you have people on the road like me, with my car that can not go that fast, even if we had to, or wanted to.

Nopes, if the police do not even set an example, nor enforce it, (which is the biggest problem where I live) than it wil never happen.  Sorry.  It sucks!

  4. Sounds like here in NY.

  5. It would be nice but I doubt that would every happen. There are too many selfish people in the world that think the law does not apply to them. There are too many people in this world that are willing to put there life and everyone elses life in danger just so they can get to there destination faster.

  6. In my city, they've started using the speed cameras, red light cameras and everyone's oh so favorite speed vans that they park in different locations to photograph you if you're speeding.

    That seems to have helped...

But as far as people driving super aggressively.. well... they just need to chill out, huh?

  7. NO

  8. Yes, when we reach the point that computers do the driving.  Until that day, keep dreaming.
