Question:

Do you think there is any chance of me tanning in a tanning bed or in the sun? ( pic included)?

I usually burn if I'm in the sun for an extended amount of time without sunscreen and my skin turns reddish and stays like that especially in my face. I would really like to tan but I don't know if I can. It's very annoying because my dad tans pretty good and my little sister laughs at me because she gets a nice tan in the summer and mom, my older sister, and me don't get good tans. I understand that it has to do with the amount of melanin in my skin and I was wondering if you could increase that somehow. Could someone tell me if there is hope of me getting a tan because I want it so bad.

  1. your pretty hot, and sure, just put suntan lotion on so you don't burn

  2. Just put on some sunscreen, maybe try Hawaiian Tropic Dark Tanning lotion. It has a low SPF, but just apply it frequently. I think you look good as you are right now and tanning increases the risk of skin cancer. It's up to you.

  3. You are supposed to wear sunscreen when you tan! Or else you are bound to burn. =) I use sunscreen and I get a nice tan. If you still burn with it on, maybe ask your sister or mom to buy you some tanning lotion.

  4. Are those golf trophies yours?

    I wouldn't recommend it, btw.

  5. just start out at the lowest time limit, go a few times a week and work up to more time. get a package deal to save money.

  6. Your little sister won't be laughing when she's all wrinkled at 20.  Your skin tone looks good and even.  Don't f it up with too much sun.

  7. The tanning beds make you look so yellow and it doesn't look real. I'm chinese, and I'm already kind of yellow, so when I went there, I was like..a  banana!! But maybe it'll be different for you, maybe my tanning bed was just..bad in a way. I recommend spray tans, they don't take as long and look more realistic.

  8. Well tanning is not good for your skin, maybe you should find a tanning lotion that's healthy for your skin. MK offers a great subtle tanning lotion for even your face and you can use it all year around.

  9. Anyone can get a tan !! :) go ahead , use the natural sun ... tanning beds I find are a little harsh , and I feel claustrophobic in them . Just remember to wear a bit of sunscreen so you dont burn :) but you'll still get tanned .

Dont stay in the sun too long though :)

    hope i helped :)
