Do you think there is going to be an apocolypse in 2012 ?

I really dont have a lot of facts on it and i just want to know some opinions and if you could through in why or why not you think what you do then i would really appreciate it :]

I'm sure there won't be. There wasn't in AD 115, 900, 1000, 1900, 1999, 2000, etc. This 2012 stuff is just one more piece of c**p among hundreds that con men have concocted in history. It's based on ignorance and misunderstandings.

That apocalypse you are thinking about is just like all of the other parts of the NT story, just a story of many lies.  Answer is NO. All that is mentioned in the NT story happened before it was written, and that is how the writers knew about it and then claimed that Jesus knew ahead of time.  No way! All had happened prior to the story being written, and 2012 is going to be just another year.

Not a chance.  The whole silly business was based on an observation that the Mayan calendar rolled over a major cycle in that year -- which is of no more significance than your wall calendar rolling over on January 1.

Absolutely not.

The two theories relating to the date as the actual end of the world are:

The 2013 end of the myan calander theory and the ancient astronaught theory devised by Zecharia Sitchin regarding a Planet orbiting just outside our solar system.

The 2013/2012 myth has been debunked since no Myan texts have EVER said this will be the end of the world. The Myans belived in Cycles of the earth and this was simply the end of one cycle and the start of a new one.Life goes on.

As for the fool Sitchin, his work has been so thoroughly,logically and factually debunked that I could write a ten thousand word essay on the facts against his theory. There is no 12th planet on an elliptical orbit going to crash into earth. He "translated" ancient sumerian to come up with this one and was so maniupulative and untruthfull, that he even left out whole halves of sentences so that his translations would sound better! they wouldnt have made sense if he left them in, yet he claims them as proof.

No worries child, we'll still be here in 2050...well...unless we blow eachother up or something ;)

haha, omg, me and my bf were just talking about this. he swears that its going to happen (the mayans predicted it and other things that came true and a lot of others predict it too) and i don't think that.... he's funny though he said its sad cuz he's not going to be able to turn 20... haha i love him!!

I've heard that from several things.. from a meteor hitting and also I heard of another incident.. only one way to find out. Personally, I doubt it.

I do or the 2nd coming of christ will come at least by 2048 because we need to be saved again and if it does happen at least im going to heaven

but here are some facts:

-the world was supposed to start over in 2000 (Y2K) it didn't

-the world was also supposed to end on June 6, 2006 (6-6-6) and guess what, we're still here.

now i will tell you this if the world does end because of an o-zone deficiency then we're all going to h**l in a hand basket and i won't graduate. JUST KIDDING!
